Most people are worked up over M. Night Shamylon, not the movie itself.

When I first heard of Avatar, months ago, I thought it was related to The Last Airbender.

I don't want movies copying Memento's style, but I'd like to see filmmakers take more risks, you know.
Pm'd you about this.
For anyone else interested, the movies I recommended, to start, are Following, Primer, Run Lola Run, and Magnolia.
Also, what do you guys say about starting a film club? i.e. everyone puts their name on a list and picks a movie, and each movie is given two weeks in which the forumites watch it and can discuss it.
They would need to be easily acquirable film, ones that can be watched without expending currency, if you know what I mean.

Sounds good to me.
But I think that most people would suggest new and/or popular movies, and fuck new and popular movies.

There could be a leader who chooses the order in which we watch them, keeping a good balance.

In which case most people would probably not watch the relatively obscure movies.
Correct me if I'm wrong, I don't know this forum and I'm assuming you all suck. :>

I would watch the obscure movies, or at least give them a chance. I suppose a lot of other members would too.
