He didn't say anything.

They just showed him and he looked like the guy had just punched him in the face.

Oh.

He basically said that if Na'vi had been considered a foreign language there's no way he would have won.

It wasn't that funny by itself but Cameron's reaction made it funny.

Just to show how much of a film nerd I am, I'm going to keep a running tab on how well I predicted the Oscars.

Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz - Called it

Best Animated Picture: Up - Called it

Best Original Song: Crazy Heart - Called it

Best Original Screenplay: The Hurt Locker - Called it

Best Animated Short: Logorama - I got this one wrong. Which is bullshit. Of Loaf and Death should have won.

Best Documentary Short: Music by Prudence - Wrong. I just guessed on this one since I haven't seen any of them.

Best Live Action Short: The New Tenants - Wrong. Again, I haven't seen them.

Best Makeup: Star Trek - I got this wrong. :/

Best Adapted Screenplay: Precious - wrong. I said Up in the Air. I think that should have won.

Best Supporting Actress: Monique - Called it

Art Direction: Avatar - Called it

Best Costume Design: The Young Victoria - Wrong. I thought Coco Before Chanel would get this one.

Sound Editing: The Hurt Locker - Wrong. I said Avatar. :/

Sound Mixing: The Hurt Locker - daisies. I though Avatar would have won SOMETHING for sound.

Cinematography: Avatar - Called it

Original Score: Up - Called it

Visual Effects: Avatar - Called it

Documentary: The Cove - Called it

Editing: The Hurt Locker - Called it

Foreign Film: The Secret in Their Eyes - Wrong. Haven't seen them.

Best Actor: Jeff Bridges - Called it

Best Actress: Sandra Bullock - Called it

Have I mentioned how much I love The Wolfman? I do. It's wonderful.

Man I'm glad Up has gotten so much recognition. I really did love that movie, and its central piece of music is so emotional, it deserved that win.

(Late to the party, whatever, excuse me for watching this with a family.)

Oprah quite praising the hell out of Precious.

That movie was blatant Oscar bait.

She's not going to have a show soon. Let her have it.

Well...I certainly wasn't expecting Sandra Bullock to win, but good for her.

DAMMIT GIVE MERYL STREEP AN OSCAR RRGHHH

I mean I'm really pop flyin' for Sandra Bullock, but this is a Greek Tragedy.

EDIT: Didn't realize she won an Oscar in this category in Kramer Vs Kramer. I stand by this, though. Thought she was more deserving.

Moment of truth. Best Director. Okay, who am I kidding, James Cameron is going to win.
