Just to show how much of a film nerd I am, I'm going to keep a running tab on how well I predicted the Oscars.

Supporting Actor: Christoph Waltz - Called it

Best Animated Picture: Up - Called it

Best Original Song: Crazy Heart - Called it

Best Original Screenplay: The Hurt Locker - Called it

Best Animated Short: Logorama - I got this one wrong. Which is bullshit. Of Loaf and Death should have won.

Best Documentary Short: Music by Prudence - Wrong. I just guessed on this one since I haven't seen any of them.

Best Live Action Short: The New Tenants - Wrong. Again, I haven't seen them.

Best Makeup: Star Trek - I got this wrong. :/

Best Adapted Screenplay: Precious - wrong. I said Up in the Air. I think that should have won.

Best Supporting Actress: Monique - Called it

Art Direction: Avatar - Called it

Best Costume Design: The Young Victoria - Wrong. I thought Coco Before Chanel would get this one.

Sound Editing: The Hurt Locker - Wrong. I said Avatar. :/

Sound Mixing: The Hurt Locker - daisies. I though Avatar would have won SOMETHING for sound.

Cinematography: Avatar - Called it

Original Score: Up - Called it

Visual Effects: Avatar - Called it

Documentary: The Cove - Called it

Editing: The Hurt Locker - Called it

Foreign Film: The Secret in Their Eyes - Wrong. Haven't seen them.

I found Star Trek more visually impressive than Avatar, but Avatar did have better technology involved. I suppose it was earned in a way.

I love how Cameron is looking on, not even attempting to hide his "I deserve all the awards" look.

To be honest, of all the awards, I definitely believe Avatar deserves the Visual Effects one the most.

You can just see how much work was put into making it so beautifully done, I would actually have been rustled if they didn't get the reward for that.

Up was amazing. I totally cried like a little baby in the beginning.

Cameron needs to learn to get the stick out of his bum and take a joke. "My totally original movie about blue people is serious business."

And Sleuth get your head out of your booty.
