I don't care, I just am so excite it's crazy. I don't think M. Night can screw up the story really, although it's going to be hard to condense 20 episodes of something into movie length.

The waterbending effects, oh my god I wish I was a waterbender.
please stop that right now

Well, see, the thing the average movie-goer doesn't consider is to what lengths the movie's writer and director are allowed to express their OWN creative ideas.

Take The Dark Knight, for example. Before these two Batman movies, they were all cheesy and campy. But the director chose to create a darker, more serious Batman, and it succeeded.

Now, with this series, everyone wants to see the cartoon recreated frame-by-frame. But is that fair to the people who worked on this movie? They're making the movie, not the show's creators. This is THEIR baby.

Sorry. Film nerd rant.

Oh, come on. It's a Tim Burton movie. There is an element of camp to it. The Joker throws cheddar out to people and fries someone with a hand buzzer.

What I mean is that Batman Begins and TDK completely shifted away from these kinds of things.

I don't know why. But I lost so hard.

So hard, in fact, I can't spell "don't".
