Well I didn't see you posting it
anyways, in the realm of actually good sonic music
[proceeds to post the worst possible example from Spinball, and Scrap Brain, not terrible but still mediocre compared to other Sonic 1 songs]
Man, your tastes are so mixed up

If you want to talk REAL good Sonic music though
BAM

And if you want classic, here's the second best track from Sonic CD, bested only by Stardust Speedway Bad Future JP/EU

I see you badmouthing the U.S. CD soundtrack but you didn't post Wacky Workbench Present's EU/JP version
Which is bad
Instead you posted Past, the song that both versions share

I will agree that Quartz Quadrant Bad Future EU/JP is good and definitely superior to the U.S. version, though

The tones of Spinball's Lava Powerhouse are so incredibly grating
You don't do that shit on the Genesis
You just don't
NERR NERR NERR NERR is not good BGM

And if you're calling Coral Cave the worst track in the Rush series you bodaciously have no taste
No taste
I don't care if you posted two really great tracks from Rush Adventure, you still have no taste

You wanna hear the worst track from Rush Adventure specifically?
THIS is the worst track from Rush Adventure

Worse than Sonic R

Every other day I catch myself humming this tune. At work, at home, driving... It just happens. It's my "this is a boring moment, have to make a sound" automatic noise.
It's not even, you know, a music track. It's the background music. Not like an epic boss track or anything. The "you're in a fucking hallway" music.

If you actually defend Sonic R's music, praise the absolute worst track from Spinball and bash Coral Cave, you have less than zero taste
Null taste
Square root of -1 taste
Actually, that's exactly the way to describe it
Irrational taste
Beyond human comprehension

live and learn is good for the kick it had at the time, but outside of context it's a little underwhelming, and that's nowhere near the best version of city escape, and neither of them are the best track from the game which is the music for pumpkin hill or alternatively known as a ghost's pumpkin soup featuring vocals from our lord and savior hunnid p the greatest rapper of all time
