Greylin Ciarsen lived in the slums of Goldenrod City until the ripe young age of fourteen. Her only home was a run-down shack with her older brother and drug-addicted father. Obviously, her brother did most of the raising, and he raised her to steal things and generally be a little bratty nuisance. She didn't really have any positive role models until she was thrown in jail and became attached to one of the officers there. Unfortunately, nothing much could be done about her living situation because her father was too drugged out of his mind to give any sort of permission for her to be adopted, and by the time he was busted her older brother could legally take care of her. Luckily her brother hightailed it out of there one day, leaving her with nowhere to go. She was soon sent from home to home, trying to find a family that could... er... put up with her. She'd been living in New Bark Town for six months with her foster mother Patricia when Professor Elm decided giving the juvenile delinquent a bitey crocodile was a good idea.
