Crazy Ducks In Space - Let's Play Ducktales!

Post by playingwithbelgian »

"Wait Uncle Scrooge, you need a suit out there..."

Oh, hi there.
This is ThatBelgianDude, and welcome to PlayingWithTheBelgian.

I already made a Let's Play Before, of Super Mario Bros. 3., too, and finished it.

I'm beginning my SECOND Let's Play today, and It's a game I "randomly" chose between four games that I was very fond of, and at the end, this one was the chosen one.

This playthrough will probably be short, and won't be a 100% run, because I don't know where all the treasures are.

Without further ado, Let's Begin! I hope to get me some constructive criticism in here! :3

Episode 1 (AMAZON)

I'm starting to like this guy.

He has only 33 posts and he already finished an LP.

Yup. I do what I need to do. And what I don't need to do either. If that made any sense.

Okay, let me rephrase that.

Thanks. :P

Episode 2 - Transylvania

If you have something to say, say it now, or shut up for the rest of your life. Or maybe not.
Sorry, I was a bit sick in the making of this video :I

And suggest what could be my next LP ^^

That's a neat idea. Which one would you rather see? :)

Eh Megaman is overplayed, Go with more obscure titles.

You gotta go in order, bro. Start with Mega Man.

On the recommendation front, I personally wouldn't mind seeing you do an LP for an old RPG. Seiken Densetsu 3 is a pretty good one for example. Gives you lots of choices and you can let the forum choose how the characters evolve. Getting people involved in the LP could help with gathering interest in them. Truly makes it into a Let's Play as opposed to a Watch Me Play.

You should try and LP a larger game. Not too big like Skyrim but something around the lines of Mario 3d land or something.

Either way, your pretty much gonna get by here.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone.
Here are my thoughts on them.

I think that, for my next playthroughs, I'll try to split my schedule into two different games. One of them being rather "big", allowing for exploration, interactivity and such, and the other would be a smaller one, haven't decided which one yet.

I'm gonna stay away for Megaman (or any other game focused on platforming, being that 2D or 3D) for the time being, just because I did two platformers in a row, and don't feel like playing another one just now. :I

I've been scrolling through some games through my folders and through the web and came across some that I think would be neat:

- Breath Of Fire (An RPG, room open for character deve
- Adventures Of Lolo (this would be a small one, puzzle like)
- Half-Life [the first one] (kinda straight-forward, but long, being able to explore here and there. Not much character development)
- Roller Coaster Tycoon (this would be rather long to do, but it would be REALLY interactive. I mean, that game is awesome)

[remember, these are the games I currently have in my computer. That doesn't mean I can't do others.]

But I am also looking through some of the games you guys said, and the games that probably would offer more interactivity would be:

-Pokemon (which, if it's not a nuzlocke run, it's extremely overdone, and the nuzlocke run doesn't offer a lot of interactivity)
-Some big RPG like Skyrim (which I wouldn't feel like doing it right now :\)
-Some old RPG like Seiken Densetsu 3 (if I could find a Super Famicon Emulator, I might do that one, if not, I'll look for some others).

But still, keep up with the ideas, and if more than one people say that I should do certain game (along the lines I "established") I might go for that one. You may pick from the games I said, or say new ones. It's up to you.

Also, finale is coming later today. :)

For the sake of interactivity, one will be Roller Coaster Tycoon. Not quite sure about the other, however. I'll probably go with either Adventures of Lolo or Half-Life.
