yeah, because people losing tons of cheddar and everybody getting credit card information stolen is totally made up for as long as I get a free PSN game that's probably not worth the cheddar it would have cost in the first place.

really if they're gonna give any compensation i'd hope it'd be like a free year of playstation plus at least. not like that'd make up for what's happened, but it'd be better than just some game.

A month of online service and some "free software?" I don't know, I'm not affected by this. Maybe someone who owns a Playstation can be relieved or outraged at this?

True. Anyone can SAY that their cheddar got stolen because they know Sony is vulnerable right now and could get something out of the fake claim.

I love how none of you mention that they're most likely going to compensate people for the fees associated with replacing credit cards. Because, you know, that doesn't really matter or anything.

I didn't have any fees to replace my card though so I can't say I really thought about it. Either way, having to cancel your card and get a new one mailed to you is still a pain in the booty.

Tomorrow (I think), PSN will be back online.
