ATTENTION!
With the majority of votes being in favor of a map wipe, and with the official release of 1.8 today, WE ARE GOING TO BE WIPING THE SERVER MAP.
The server is currently being shut down so Vandelesca can clean it up for a VANILLA 1.8 release. THIS MAP IS NOT PERMANENT. Once Bukkit plug-ins are back up, we will have another map wipe. The vanilla map is simply for people to mess around with.
The old AZCraft map will not be permanently deleted! Once Vandelesca has set up the new map, he will put the last one up for download for whoever may want it. He will make a post detailing where you can get it once he is done with everything else. Please be patient!
We will notify you once the server is up and running.
EDIT: We are currently discussing keeping the 1.7 map until the Bukkit plug-ins are updated, meaning we'd forgo the idea of a vanilla practice map. If you wish to post your ideas on the matter, please do so.

Haven't come to a decision yet, but in the meantime
you can view Bukkit's 1.8 progress here. (Honestly, they're almost done.)

Server is being setup now, a few notes.
It is set to hard mode, you can die from starvation.
This map is pretty awesome, try not to destroy it too much, there is a canyon at spawn.

I still stand by my opinion that we shouldn't use the Admins being able to spawn blocks so we can make mile high walls around AZton
I think that's what happened anyway

Well, for the permanent map, can we not do that, until people get enough resources to do so? It's kinda cheating, and me and Darkin were planning to build our own city.
