oh there's more than five mechaknights
those five just happened to be the ones that were in the second layer
there to finish you off after you carry out your too-close charge attack

Since I usually use a gun to take on mecha-knights that doesn't really become a problem unless it's the final wave of an arena (which tends to be something like 12 mecha-knights mixed with wings). Generally I'd revive, lead the knights into a big circle, and get people up as I pass by. It takes a while but still gets results.

Of course it can quickly go to pot if one of the other guys gets the same idea and starts circling in the OPPOSITE direction. :shakefist:

The Cutter's charge attack is actually pretty bad, I think, since it leaves you open for a good few seconds to attacks, and you can't do anything about them. Its line is fairly decent in my opinion, since I've got a Vile Striker and the Dread Venom Striker looks to be a fun sword to carry around.

Calibur's charge is good though, definitely. Might not look quite as cool, but definitely handy for those third-arena fights with the 20 mecha knights. If you're wanting power, the better 5-star sword is the Leviathan Blade, since it has way bigger damage output than the Cold Iron Vanquisher, even with CIV's damage bonus against Undead.
(I'm getting CIV though because who doesn't want a floating magical chain winding around their sword)

No way the cutter's charge is amazing it deals so much damage you just need to stun the enemy.

It gets really risky once you start fighting monsters that can 2 shot you.
