So I've been playing this quite a bit, getting 1 item short of full tier 4. Gotten a biiit bored of it so..
I'll be using my mist energy to craft gear for any newer players who would like me to.
Just PM me. (Might need some mats)

I played today, ran out of energy rather quickly...

Playing for short amounts of time each day isn't really that appealing

Thats gonna bug me too, but i will probably forget about it and then keep going back to it after a little while. i should be able to play it for a while at a time, seeing as how i can go through a bit with around 80 mist energy, like today.

For tier 1, the limited playtime goes away quickly once you get to tier 2.
As prices go now, if you're going through full tier 2, and using the AH as well to sell stuff you won't use, and can't afford an energy refill, you're doing something wrong.

My friend and I were checking out the new gate's second tier last night (he's got 4-star equipment but I only have a mix of 3 and 4) and when we reached the last floors we saw something that looked like a kat but it had eyes and screamed like the damned when it died.
...is that a third-tier kat? Either way, holy horrifying.

Only a 2 star shield away from tier 2.

Holy shit.
I just found out a guy called Ian Mcconville is the art lead for this game.

The same guy who drew machall, which was the first webcomic I really got into and still remains my favourite. Also he still does http://threepanelsoul.com/

Now I shall tenderly love this game a bit more.

SJDkfhij some of the players can be so annoying
Maybe your group has just experienced the first total wipeout, and the energy cost is like 5 because we're obviously in t2
so everyone sits there twiddling their thumbs waiting for someone besides them to revive
why
it's like, 5 energy. t2 only takes 80 energy, so you have at least two self-revives and a lot more health revives
unless you're already running on CE in which case you probably have plenty

And then you decide to be a nice person and revive one of them, but, oops, turns out they're one of those people who have the idea that they're a hero and will totally survive against every monster with minimal damage. So they run right past your dead self to go fight those mecha knights alone and immediately get five swords in the face

I am the type to revive, then take on the 5 mechaknights
I didn't need that health anyway.
