oh dude I need to go out and buy some new phyrexia packs.

I'm not sure why I want to so badly though. I fuckin hate infect and phyrexians in general and that's what like 90% of the set is made of.

If u hate infect then you will hate it now that those decks have new cards that cost life instead of mana. White infect is looking like a good option to have to stay on top. But if this infect thing gets out of hand the game might change almost completely.
Like yugioh does every three years or so.

as long as the next block isn't about phyrexians I doubt there will be half as many infect cards in it. which I like, since seriously fuck infect.

There is potential right now for a good golem standard deck.

This game is pretty fun. I just hate when I attack with my strongest monster, only for the defender to use righteousness. Or veterans reflexes.

Our friend stayed over for two nights, and both nights we stayed up until 2 in the morning playing it.

ugh I want to build an all-color deck because why not but man I have almost no ravinca or alara cards at all. I guess I could just order some singles but it always feels weird buying singles because, well, i don't really know. it just feels weird to me. (course i'd be buying a good amount for said deck but that's not the point).

impmon08 wrote:honestly, in my opinion at least, the most fun part of MtG is building your own deck (though that probably has more to do with the fact that i don't really build good decks and like to build fun shit, like my beloved jace's erasure deck.)

anyway yeah if you dont want to buy actual boosters or anything then i'd say go ahead and get DOTP2012. also that we should probably continue this discussion in the magic thread somewhere down wherever since this really has little to nothing to do with TF2 anymore.
I would get the game but I'm kinda broke. I spent the little I had for my birthday on Kirby Air Ride.

well honestly if steam wasn't under the impression that DOTP2012 was DLC for some game that doesn't exist I'd just gift you a copy right now.

that and I don't think I have you on my friends list right now.

also I think I realized i'm finally at that point where i need to cut my MtG spending, since I just spent 10 bucks on a jace today. (and two bucks on time reversal, and another dollar for a 1000-card size box to hold my cards that is now almost full.) shit I don't even play that much, why me spend so much

well at least a fifth or so were free gifts from various people (holidays, just giving away extra shit they had, etc.)

but still I've spent a good deal on zendikar and the scars block, and a small amount on eldrazi.

also they probably do have something similar for yugioh, if you look. I don't really know personally.

My Myr deck as of now:
2 hovermyr
4 myr turbine
4 Myr Reservoir
4 iron myr
4 palladium myr
4 myr galvanizer
4 Myr Propagator
3 Myr Battlesphere
3 origin spellbomb
4 master's call
2 shrine of loyal legions
2 galvanic blast
1 red sun's zenith
1 whipflare
4 glimmerpost
7 plains
7 mountain

should I pull some iron myr out for Alloy Myr?
looking for a spot for myr Superion(s).

Also looking for myr welder and myrsmith to complete my Scars myr set.

In other news, do any of you guys play standard, or do you play other gametypes (extended, legacy, EDH)?

I know someone who probably has thousands of cards, and has been playing for almost since the game was first released.

Meanwhile, guess what I did all last week at summer camp? Played magic the gathering. Every single morsel of free time I had, I had my cards in hand. Throughout the week, we (Meaning me, my friend, and my brother) taught multiple people to play, and I know AT LEAST one person went to wal mart for some cards as soon as the week was over.

All in all, it was a fun week. I won a lot, due to the awesomeness of my deck.
