I have a friend who stacks those two cards and loads up on discard. I hate that deck.

So, in the deck box I bought, I got a grand total of 0 eldrazi. Guess how many my brother got in his?

Five.

Although if I'm using my fire swamp deck I can simply use doom blade, or quag sickness. My plains deck has pacifism. Needless to say though, there will be some trading.

If you lose to a Phyrexian deck, do you cease to be a planeswalker and become some kind of Phyrexian minion?

Well, that was one of my most successful wins against an eldrazi. I had a 4/4 creature with a +3/+3 aura(totem armor) and a +1/0 equipment on it from near the beginning. My brother puts down an ulamogs crusher, Image, and I used a rot wolf to give it two -1/-1 counters on it, then killed it with my 8/7.

He immediately put down a second ulamogs crusher. I attacked with my 8/7, he defended with the ulamogs crusher, although mine's totem armor saved it, leaving it a 5/4. All he had left was a 2/2, so I went on the offensive. He only drew lands for a few turns, while I got a razorfield rhino, which was a 6/6 due to it's ability. Needless to say, I won.

My other strategies for defeating eldrazi:
Doom blade
Defend with my strongest creature, use some kind of damaging spell to finish it off.

The only draft I've ever won was with an Eldrazi deck, which surprised me. Drafting is supposed to be fast, but somehow I managed to survive 'til I could get the goods out.

Well, my brother has a deck with which he can get some eldrazi out surprisingly quickly, with a bunch of spells and creatures that make eldrazi spawn tokens, then an everflowing chalice, and... a dreamstone hedron, I think.

This sucker is a godsend to Eldrazi decks, or any other high cost cards for that matter. Dark/blightsteel colossi anyone?

The problem with using the Eldrazi "Gods" with that card is that it doesn't activate their abilities when they come onto the field because of their wording.

"When you cast Ulamog, the Infinite Gyre, destroy target permanent."

"When you cast Kozilek, Butcher of Truth, draw four cards."

"When you cast Emrakul, the Aeons Torn, take an extra turn after this one."

It's still a great combo, and even better with the colossi, but you lose out on some good stuff there, especially with Emrakul.
