This is the best game.

This one time, me and my friend kept putting down monsters, but didn't want to attack for fear of being killed. Then we had like 10 monsters each, and I used Sleep.

The recent LoadingReadyRun episode featuring Magic: The Gathering was enough to make me break out my old deck and look over the cards. Now that I'm older and wiser, I see strategies unfolding and I wish that there were another person in my community who played.

I had pretty much the exact same experience, only with all the magic playing/discussing they did during desert bus.

well, it wasn't really "break out my old deck" as much as it was "take my current (yet shitty) deck and wish I could find somebody to play against" but still.

on a semi-related note, after watching desert bus for like a week straight, I feel the need to get a stormcrow into my deck.

basically every card game ever is either inspired by or just a ripoff of it, so it should be pretty easy to figure out.

and if it's not i'm sure it has a tutorial.

and if it doesn't then that's just bad practice in a game.

Land is good. Land is always good. Except when you draw nothing but land for 10 turns.

Just look at some of the cards and find some that speak to you. Choose one of the five colors.

Or be like Snarf and choose all the colors and still kick booty.

Yeah, Legacy decks can be a bit poopy... I try to stay in Standard format because they decided killing people in two or three turns is dumb.

It's a bit more balanced.

I play a straight black deck now. Black can do everything the other colours can, and the only price is my own life!
