Snapshot, anvils added and shit.

I wonder if I should start running snapshot servers again to mess around on.

I also wish there was news on the mod api, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was pushed back again.

Started a new new world, dicked about for a day, built my shelter on sand.
Got bored of waiting for day, decided to hazard going one block straight down. Dug out a side view at ground level, creeper makes a beeline for me.

I put down a single wooden block in a panic and the entire field of sand collapsed before my eyes.
It cut off one block from my abode.

Beautiful.

Does it need to be? It has it's own launcher, so version swapping isn't a problem, and it's not too far back, so it doesn't feel too old.

Oh, memory leaks, how I'd missed you.

Yeah guess Minecraft is still too huge a piece of shit for me to play any longer than twenty minutes.
This is a fresh Windows install since last time I tried, too.

No. I am saying why do you need the proletariats to be compatible?

There is a separate launcher to use just for Technic/Tekkit/Yogbox/whatever.
You can have Technic and Minecraft run at the same time. :psyduck:

They are separate games entirely just about.

But Bobobo-bo bo-bobo, why do you need recent Minecraft stuff when you have Technic? It's obviously much better than anything ever that Minecraft could come up with.

Not sure if this would help, but have you tried running optifine?

It's supposed to help make minecraft run better and leaner.

I still don't get why Notch had to remove the old world gen, it's much better and more interesting than the current one :/

I would be perfectly pop flyin' with the old worldgen coming back. Keep swamps, ravines and structures, but bring back the 1.7.3 terrain gen.
I always managed to build something interesting to form to the terrain, but now I tend to just find a plains biome and build the same house there that I always have.
