I've been playing Tekkit a bit, found some tungsten which is basically the rarest ore in the mod.

So far, its daises fun but i always have to use a guide, they need to implement some kind of book like the Aether did.

If a mod requires a Wiki to understand, then it's probably too complicated.
Minecraft itself had the excuse of needing a wiki until release, where they should have probably put in SOME kind of tutorial.

It is complicated, but once you create the item, then a giant explosion, its well worth it.

Its fun bending the world to my will.

I still have no fucking idea what half this shit is.
Do the scorpions continue to try and kill me when I leave the house? Do they poison me? Why the fuck are these leaves blue? Does this tree even do anything other than be a tree?

Questions I had within 5 minutes

Is this Technic or Yogbox?

The tree is probably blue because is it a location of high aura, and certain inventions get some sort of energy crystals from absorbing the aura around it, so the trees are good indicators of places to be for that.

Disclaimer: I have not used said invention, and am only using what I gathered from the wikis that are poorly thrown together.
I really think it needs to be a rule that if you develop a mod/modpack that is crazy complicated, you need to write a wiki yourself to explain such things. The Technic Pack wiki is kind of hard to understand with a lot of the Yogbox things, but the Tekkit things are easier to understand.

I go the Technic pack from the website and it spent like 10 minutes making a copy of minecraft.jar and modding it.
That was my first clue.

there's links to most of the proper wikis, threads, and other sites in the mod list

So the PAX panel was informative. They talked about the new boss mob coming out, and how 1.4 which comes out in October will likely come with the modding api.

Jeb also said that they won't be adding any new "dimensions" or worlds because of how much space the nether and the end take. So that kinda sucks, but there's proletariats for that.

I'm hoping they add more to the end because it's really boring as is :/

It only works for v1.2.5, but you should give Spider Queen a try

Also theres a girlfreind mod that basically turns it into a VN?

The End is good for making an efficient grinder once you beat the dragon.
Plus you get so many Enderballs that walking becomes for those without regenerating health.

I watched a video of that due to boredom and curiosity.
First thing I noticed; it's weird and jarring as fuck, and it doesn't make any sense. Second thing; all of the writing is horrible. Third; wow this is really weird.

Assuming you watched the same video that Runes showed me, I really wish the guy who made it hadn't fucking read every single line.
