Noffy, for the love of god don't give players access to the nether freely, let them get there their own daisies self.

Dunno if this has been posted before, but we should get a group together and try this out

Here's a tutorial/intro since the trailer sucks:

So... Snapshot 12w32a. Mojang is now working on 1.4 stuff, and those will be shown in snapshots from now on.

Here are the details on the snapshot.
[*]Villagers will now react positively on new trades, and negatively if you hurt them
[*]Villagers will not remove trades, but trading something else may be required to renew the old ones
[*]Zombies and Skeletons have new equipment, depending on difficulty
[*]Added Zombie Villagers
[*]Added the Command Block intended for adventure maps.
--[*]It can run server commands when triggered by a redstone signal.
-----[*]You can use @player or @p as a placeholder for the nearest player.
--[*]It’s not craftable and currently not in the menu, but can be obtained with the /give 137 command.
[*]The "WIP Block". Right-clicking the block opens a menu.
--[*]It’s not craftable and currently not in the menu, but can be obtained with the /give 138 command.
[*]A working Potion of Night Vision is in the creative inventory.[/quote]

Seems cool. Might get a server running in a bit.

Reddit with the minecraft update info.

The WIP block is some sort of buff supplier. If you create a pyrmid out of solid ore blocks, you can create a beacon of power taht will buff you if you stand near it, the bigger the pyramid, the further you can go away from it to receive buffs. Also it makes for a nice spotlight.

The zombies and skeletons seem to be exactly the same, no matter what difficulty I put it on. Also skeletons already sometimes dropped enchanted bows.

I've seen a video with a skeleton decked out in gold armor, on hard difficulty.

Also, the zombie villagers can be babies as well, so you get these tiny zombie-colored villagers running around at the speed of light and it's adorable.

Been working on my server more, now with multiverse, and some other things.

You will spawn in a hub, and you will see obsidian pillars with red floors, if you step onto these floors you will be teleported to either the skylands or normal survival. The main area is in creative mode, you can do whatever, skylands and survival mode share inventory.

If you make anything on creative related to foliage or ruins or buildings, or whatever, I can take those creations and make it so that a world will be generated with these, if you make a large tree, it will spawn naturally on the world

24.231.65.216

If you want to mess around with it.

Currently built by me is a shitty train station and an airship crewed by some snowmen and an iron golem.

So I setup areas for biome certain creations. So far I have Desert, Jungle, Swamp and Forest. You can find these in portals I have setup at the spawn.
