I really want Optifine to update, it's practically essential for me to be able to play with any semblance of a good FPS rate.

This update has made this game absolutely unplayable for me. I get under ~5 fps without any other programs running, and huge stuttering and practically a frame per second with iTunes running in the background. Absolutely ridiculous.

Made a new world, on large biomes. Went searching for things.

Found a village.

EVERY HOUSE IS AT LEAST TWO BLOCKS OFF THE GROUND. Some are up to seven. There's giant holes and caves everywhere. You can't get into the well because the rim is bodaciously three blocks up.

It has become my solemn duty to fix this place.

I have fixed most of the large holes, and lowered all the houses over 2 blocks off the ground. There's still some work to do, mostly with ease of movement and roads and such, but otherwise going really well. Even managed to get all the villagers out of all the pits. Created an Iron Golem, and working on town lighting.

When I am done here this shit is gonna rock hard.

I also found a villiage, it was in the desert, though, and has a very very small amount of homes.
I built one of my own and plan on fixing it up and building a wall, etc.

Also, I made a zombie-proof early-game friendly house entrance, I'll take some screenshots in a few minutes.

I feel like also renovating villages.

My problem is I almost never play survival. I always go either Hardcore or Creative, so my village fixes either mean nothing or vanish when I die.

It's just a trapdoor nook, but my problem was getting up to it and keeping the one trapdoor. So I made the outside steps, lead up to it.
Zombies can't get in trapdoors, and spiders get stuck in the 1X3 space, so you can kill them while taking zero damage, lead them oer to the trapdoor and kill them.

Also there was a massive 3 day thunderstorm and all the villagers died. :(

I thought about doing another bukkit server, I talked with brekk and he said he just got back from a trip so he's behind on his idea, I don't know if he is still going to go through with it.

Ok so playing around with bukkit, some new fun stuff.

So far I put mcmmo back on, hard core mode which makes players lose levels on death, I like, and vampirism.

Giant trees is always, gotta make those giant trees.

the ability to make multiple copies of maps and books you write, good for cartographers.

and my new fav, shop keepers, the ability to make npcs sell what you want them to sell, and they sit in the same spot you place them and cannot die. It's amazing..

If you want to play around log on 24.231.65.216

I will need to give you op though in order for you to do anything.

oh also the kitten cannon.

Don't lose inventory on death.

Oooh, that's a wonderful idea. Having a plugin where you can set what Villages sell/buy would be wonderful for shoptowns in a city.

Usually they have selling signs for the iConnomy(or whatever its called) currency, but this could make things feel a lot neater and real.
