what was so special about old generation though

I dunno. Forum seems to love it, I just wanna revisit an old world I lost with 1.8+ stuff available.

I loved the 1.7.3 terraingen, it was much more absurd and ridiculous, and in Minecraft, it actually works.
Most of the worlds I generate nowadays seem to be the same thing over and over.

Besides, this lends new interest to the 404 challenge.

If you want old generation, just buy MC on the 360. (Granted, it isn't really worth it unless you have someone to play with regularly. *cough cough* ME *cough cough*)

So I beat Minecraft, and the only thing I can think of is:

As in he killed the Ender Dragon and got the ending credits.

As in the Enderdragon was defeated?

Yes. and yes, the game never needed an ending

I really want the old health system back. I figured I would get used to it eventually, but the more Minecraft I play the more I realize how annoying hunger is.

Back when minecraft was in version "indev" it had limited maps and a number of customization options such as Small/Medium/Huge, Square/Long/Deep and some biomes like Forest, Floating Islands and Hell. I think Hell was a normal map except it was always dark and water was replaced with lava.

Anyway Floating Islands was fucking rad, especially on Huge+Deep

Kind of off topic, but wow people at that forum seem really whiny about everything. Does anyone know what the tripwire does, I can't figure it out because I'm dumb or something.
