it'll probably be best if we pick a time that's late evening for the western hemisphere and morningish for the eastern hemisphere
8 PM? (-5)

You will end up with either Europe, America or Asia at night no matter when you try to arrange it. Focus on two of those regions and rather do another one with the last one later.
Also, the reason I posted the map up there is so you guys can use the same system for timezones. EST is not global. GMT is. Use GMT and everyone will be able to figure out where they are and what time the others propose.

For the Games, is anyone up for the district system?
It's where there's two members of a district number 1-12
whoever's in the same district can team up and if they're both the last ones standing, they both win.
If so, i dibs District 7

I have some experience.
Blutricity is part of RedPower. I don't think RedPower has a quarry/mining pipe, but it does have pneumatic transport pipes.
Build Craft has the quarry and some logistics pipes, but I much prefer the pneumatic ones.
Industrial Craft has all the EU/t stuff.
You should be able to figure this out from that, but if you need more help, just nudge me on Skype.

all we really need to nail down is the time and the server (unless you all already have some secret one that nobody else knows about)

If you don't have a server to do it on yet, I could probably host it on my server, depending on the time. I don't think I have anything this Friday, if that's when you were planning on having it. I'm in the eastern US time zone, so -5.

Also, I'd like to be back in.

I use bukkit on my server, so you wouldn't have to worry about downloading any proletariats.

Cool,
DUMB QUESTION:
I won't need to get rid of my proletariats, will I?
I also think I need to update.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to get rid of your proletariats. Bukkit is cool like that.
