I don't even know what the Hunger Games are, but I'll do it anyway.

Flicky I wouldn't just go on a killing rampage.

Anyway, the more people the better, so if this actually does go ahead (which I really hope it does) i'll post about it in the AZ Facebook thread for more people and ask some AZ'ers on skype (if that's ok, i know the AZ minecraft community is quite tight knit and might not want people who don't play so often)

when would this happen? Sometime at the weekend?

I'm sure most of you have seen the videos of all the famous Minecraft players on Youtube doing a Hunger Games thing.

I would like to say that I will NOT be participating if whoever dies gets to spawn endless amounts of stupid shit everywhere.

I wholeheartedly agree - the players should die at the hands of each others, not at the gamekeepers.

What you do is

as less and less people live

you YOURSELF shoot fireballs near the players to lead them in the direction of other players

or in the case of me lure me to a zombie infested pirate ship and then as i'm collecting the loot from inside burn it down around me so i have to bail into the water below

Spawning stuff on the player = no

Spawning stuff to get the player to move in a certain direction = valid

Gamemakers are supposed to try to kill you, but it's better to let a contestant do it. So they should smack you if you ignore them, but not the bullshit fifty ghasts/creepers I saw on a particular HG video.
Stuff goes here later.

would the gamemakers need to download proletariats that allow them to fly, turn invisible and spawn items, or would the admin of the map be able to grant those privileges?
