I've connected to minecraft with Hamachi before, so I know I'm doing it right.

You can get a server with 512MB dedicated memory (holds about 8 people) for 15 a month. Double that for 30 a month (the recommended plan, 16 people). It's 14.99 the first month, though, so we could always try it. I've got some experience setting up proletariats and whatnot, and could get my hands on some interesting maps that we had on the old server.
