Re: The Big Ol' Minecraft Thread!
Whoo, new update. :> Still waiting for it to download though.
In the meantime, my brother sent me this link:
http://www.minecraft.net/store/loot.jsp
Clicking on the most expensive "coming soon" item multiple times causes something weird/awesome to happen. : D

Is the game not fun without textures + proletariats?

I'm completely retarded to the situation. Is there a place I can read up on stuff.

Also, I ended up being a little mislead by this update. Beds don't change the respawn point, the default inventory key is still I, and wolves only appear in newly generated areas.

I think my seed was "Naruhodo".
Anyway, I found natural 4-block high reeds. Is this new?

Re: The Big Ol' Minecraft Thread!
Not for me. I slept, went to the Nether, and respawned at my original spawn point, so I guess that has something to do with it. There should still be Nether support though.Malum wrote:actually yes they do change the spawn point.

Re: The Big Ol' Minecraft Thread!
Nope I made a bed, slept in it, got killed and went back to my main spawn.electronic goat wrote:Not for me. This update was disappointing as hell. Wolves are too rare, the cookies aren't worth the risks when it heals as much as cooked pork when you eat a full batch. The bed shit is broken, and they still haven't fixed some of the bugs like for the better light shading on ice, which was NEVER an issue on the original mod.

Brown sheep everywhere
Just a glitch, I think. I've found a few here and there in the past[Citation Needed] wrote:Anyway, I found natural 4-block high reeds. Is this new?

Wrong. On my world from 1.3, I've found 3 wolves by my home.electronic goat wrote:wolves only appear in newly generated areas.

Re: The Big Ol' Minecraft Thread!
I have yet to find a single wolf, and I have been scouring the land for a couple of hours now. I am disappoint.
