Whoo, new update. :> Still waiting for it to download though.

In the meantime, my brother sent me this link:

http://www.minecraft.net/store/loot.jsp

Clicking on the most expensive "coming soon" item multiple times causes something weird/awesome to happen. : D

And then if you try and buy it a dinosaur yells at you.
Clicking "OK" on the popup is interesting.

I don't really use texture packs. I'm fine with how everything already looks. :B

New stuff in 1.4

Wolves
Passive-aggressive mobs
Spawns on all difficulties
Untamed wolves attacks when attacked, even in Peaceful
Aggressive wolves have red eyes
Tame-able with random amount of bones
Right clicking tamed wolves bodies makes them sit
Wolfs tail is a indicator of it's health, higher tail = higher health
Shakes off water when it gets out of water
Right clicking on tamed wolves heads with food heals them
Being too far away will make them teleport to you
Cookies
Heals half a heart
Stackable to 8
Crafted with cacao beans and wheat
When crafted it'll be a stack of 8
ID of this item is 357
Cacao Beans
Used to craft cookies, together with wheat
Can be found in dungeons
Steve Co. Supply Chest/Locked Chest
Created by the terrain generator, similar to how it spawns pumpkins
Refers you to an online shop when you try to open them (EPILEPTIC DANGER ON AMOUNT OVER 10000!)
They have a weak glow
ID of this block is 95
New Minecraft logo
Infrastructure for stats and achievement
I.E. NOT DONE, fully implemented in later update

Changes/Features in 1.4

Waking up in a bed or leaving a bed sets you spawn point
Your spawn point will be reset to default if the bed gets destroyed
Sheep can now spawn with PANK or brown wool
Shift now also holds you still on ladders
Water currents are now stronger than before
Spiders and wolves can't trample crops
Default inventory key is now E

April fool's gag.

Also, I ended up being a little mislead by this update. Beds don't change the respawn point, the default inventory key is still I, and wolves only appear in newly generated areas.

I think my seed was "Naruhodo".
Anyway, I found natural 4-block high reeds. Is this new?

Not for me. I slept, went to the Nether, and respawned at my original spawn point, so I guess that has something to do with it. There should still be Nether support though.

Nope I made a bed, slept in it, got killed and went back to my main spawn.

This update was disappointing as hell. Wolves are too rare, the cookies aren't worth the risks when it heals as much as cooked pork when you eat a full batch. The bed shit is broken, and they still haven't fixed some of the bugs like for the better light shading on ice, which was NEVER an issue on the original mod.

Wrong. On my world from 1.3, I've found 3 wolves by my home.
