It annoys me that you need to kill skeletons to make dyes

I like playing peaceful mode

If you set the mode to Hard or something during the night, then wait for all the monsters to burn and drop their stuff come morning and swap back to Peaceful, is there a chance there'll be some of that bone stuff? Or do you have to kill the skeletons yourself?

I guess you could do that, or find a dungeon, make one of those traps, then when you want items, put difficulty up, get items, turn difficulty down.

In Beta 1.2, the mob being spawned will be displayed inside the monster spawner.
So lapis lazuli only spawns in newly generated chunks after the update, meaning I'd have to travel a hell of a long way from my bases to get any. So NEW WORLD

It already did this.
I need to get a Skeleton to kill a Creeper for me so I can get records...
Shoot a creeper with 4 arrows. lure it to a 3x3x3 pit and strafe around it while a skeleton shoots at you. Because if Creepers get shot and don't die they blow up. It takes 5 arrows to kill a creeper.

I never saw it do it. Ever. :V

And I know how to get Skeletons to kill Creepers already. It's not hard, I just never got around to doing it.

Edit: New world, new sights?
