Hey, I've joined the Minecraft world. I've sorta half assed though 2 worlds and have actuary put some effort into my current world. I'd post pictures of things but for some reason even when I first got my computer the screen cap didn't work, still doesn't. So I'll just describe the structures.

The first thing I made was my house. It is a cliffside ,completely glass, greenhouse/ evil lab with a water slide that goes all the way down to my deepest mine. It also has a lava fall in the back yard that goes down the other side of the mountain. Behind the waterfall is the secret exit out of the house.

The next thing I made was a clock tower. Took me a few hours to make and it reaches to the top of the sky of my world. ( still looks kinda punny to me though.)

The third thing that I am currently still working on is a library, it still in progress and I need a LOT of reeds to make it work.

Final thing is the underwater laboratory with a secret entrance. I'm having a FREAKING HARD TIME filling in the pit of water. I tried to fill it from top to bottom but it didn't work, so I've going from bottom to top. Taking a long time, longer then the clock tower :I

Make a layer of dirt in the hole that is one below where the surface layer of water would be, then fill the now very shallow hole with water, then take out the dirt, and it should all flow downwards once you remove the dirt.

Since I was too busy upgrading my computer to get in on the awesome multi-player shenanigans going on here, I decided to rebuild my floating island hermit home from Noffletoff's server.

Ok, I have updated my SSS (server signature status), the server is only open on weekends as of now, and will stay that way until further notice. So, please, don't ask when it will be back up.

I f*cking lost my first Diamond Pickaxe when I got burned to death by some lava I was farming for Obsidian.

And then when I finally got to the Nether it was nothing to write home about.

I have a Double Chest full of Soil I don't know what to do with other than build a gigantic floating island.

You should give it a go, it's become my favorite platform for building as you can expand it as much as you need, not to mention crouching is a godsend for it.

That much soil could get you a pretty big island to boot, as I only used about 70~80 dirt for that island I made.

I, uh, have about 200 Mossy Cobblestone. Not hacked.

I am considering building a partially submerged castle, just to shake things up a bit.

Any better ideas? >.>

I kinda want to build a floating island reminiscent of the one from Sonic the Hedgehog 3, but that would need to be huge.

Update looks promising, although I was quickly derailed by suddenly forest fires on my way to a new chunk. (I blame the lava lake)

Edit: Wait, what
