Homefront

Post by Odyssey »

Homefront is a first-person shooter set in the year 2028. The Greater Korean Republic's massive land grab has reached the shores of the United States.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I am seriously looking forward to this.

An FPS with military setting based on current events that's NOT in the Middle East? I'm enamored by the backstory alone.

I know, right? Especially when the backstory is actually plausible. This is probably the only time I've been this excited about a modern-day first-person shooter.

I hope the rest of the game holds up to my highly raised expectations. :U

The backstory is promising, but it has a limitless potential to become a jam-splattered screen full of rehashed gimmicks like any other first-person shooter. I have my hopes, but I'll be waiting until at least a few weeks after it's released to make my judgment on it.

Well, from what I've seen in the gameplay trailer, it looks solid. But I'm not going to hold my breath.
