Minish Cap was a good game that was in top-down perspective. Try playing that Tales. The DS games were both mediocre at best.

I liked the control schemes on the DS ones more than I've liked any other top-down games, personally. They just seemed more fluid to me. Not that the traditional ones were necessarily bad, but they were definitely a bit clunky.

I've heard that LBW doesn't have this issue, though.

To be fair, this is about the first overhead Zelda game (besides FSA, which was still kinda restricted in movement) with a analog stick for control.

D-pad aiming can be kinda annoying compared to stylus aiming.

Yeah, that's what I assumed fixed the problem, but I haven't been paying enough attention to trailers and shit to have actually found out.

I'm planning on getting the game either way, naturally.

you don't like the camera style used for bodaciously the majority of zelda games?

????????????
This isn't even an argument you're making.
no, it's not?
it's just weird that someone dislikes the norm. usually when people complain about video games it's because something was changed up too much, not because it's doing basically the same thing it always has.

If I somehow make another $40 in the next five days I will be a pop flyin' man

I'd like to see how a 3D-perspective non-remake 3DS Zelda would be like, seeing as they've hinted at MM3D a few times

Pretty sure LBW is what were getting instead of a MM remake, because Aonuma wanted to keep "moving forward" rather then doing a lot of remakes. We could still get a MM remake in the future, but ya' know.

But isn't doing the same thing over and over the essence of MM?

At first I thought they couldn't make the Dark World theme sound better

I was wrong

LBW is the result of a LTTP remake they scrapped and used the assets of, hence the reused overworld.

The game takes place in the Moonwalker universe. During the final boss fight Link will turn into a fighter plane.
