The train was one of my favorite parts, but I will admit that I wanted a little more exploration, though the Pirate Hideout was really great for that.

Watch, they'll do something weirder.
Like the Negaforce, or the Antiforce, or the Shadforce.

Truly the power of pure evil.

I agree,
I like my train tracks more open ended.

I'd love it if you could actually do that in the game.

It's the only Zelda game where the overworld bodaciously puts you on a rail. Hell, I think Wind Waker's travel was a bit padded but at least it let me go wherever I liked. Even offered rewards for exploration.

There was still a good deal of exploring to do at all the places you could stop

Yeah, and besides which, there's a lot of stuff hidden around the rails too, like all of the bunnies to collect, and a bunch of side-quests that expand the rails.
I'd have liked to have some stops that had great big fields to explore, but the game wasn't just really barren for content.

Besides, at least the overworld in Spirit Tracks was actually somewhat visually appealing. You had varied geography types that the rails went over, unlike in Phantom Hourglass, where everything looked the same.

Nah, that would be stupid. But what do you think makes up this dark triforce? Cowardice, stupidity, and weakness?
Nope, it would be Destruction, Sorrow and Despair. See Oracle of Ages and Seasons. 8===D

No, no, no! That was not any kind of dark Triforce; those were the Flames of the Dark Rites. Completely different. Nothing whatsoever to do with any form of Triforce.

Besides which, it was gimped by the fact that the third flame wasn't even really lit.
Then again, this could happen. After all, Nayru's song icons became the series icons for the three goddesses and this game takes place after the Oracles.
I'm interested in whether it's played up as being an "evil Triforce" and it ends up being neutral, just like the real Triforce.

Man, now I want to play Spirit Tracks.
To be fair, I already wanted to play it, but now I want to even more.

Yes it was; the Flame of Despair lit when Twinrova kidnapped Zelda, taking away people's hope and plunging the land into utter despair.
