i replay Ocarina of Time every couple of years, and every time i end up stuck in the same places never knowing how to proceed.
Still fun tho, and this 3DS port is boss.

You're dead to me.
Certainly not one of the best, but it was better than Phantom Hourglass (if not having as good of a replacement for Linebeck) and TP.
Also, speaking of Wind Waker, the preview in the Nintendo Direct showed Link getting a piece of the Triforce from a chest in a dungeony area.
I'm asuming this means the Triforce Charts are getting axed in favor of the pieces being in their place?
If so, Triforce on a haunted pirate ship.
This is gonna be like collecting the Dragonballs.

i'm actually really pop flyin' about that because that was a huge blemish on an otherwise perfect zelda game. never stopped me from replaying it 5 times but it was definitely not the most fun part. however i did appreciate that it got you to some of the lesser known islands in the area and they had fun puzzles, but it was just a fetch quest that cost a LOT because of tingle :/ i wish they'd have at least made LESS pieces so it didn't take half your playtime to get them all
Phantom Hourglass is an okay game, but there's a lot of issues that drive fans away.
Notably the Temple of the Ocean King (though, personally, I liked it, because you could figure out new ways to get through the floors quickly with new tools. It at least felt better than treasure hunting on the Tower of Spirits in Spirit Tracks, despite that being the better game).

Spirit Tracks just did not have a good story, and what there was sounded ridiculous. The ultimate evil is a train. That's not a final boss, that's something you throw Phoenix Down to end the encounter in five seconds.

the final boss isn't a train, it's a big horned blue ganon esque thing

This statement just shows that you weren't paying any attention whatsoever to the story. Malladus and the Demon Train are two completely different things. Besides, you don't throw Phoenix Downs at trains, you suplex them.

Yeah, the train was pretty much their muscle and their means to hide from you as Malladus got used to his new form so he could regain his rule over New Hyrule.
The plot was fine, but I felt like the Sand realm was shoved in there, even though it's dungeon was so cash.

Wait, where did you hear about this?

Nintendo Direct. Iwata mentioned the Triforce and the "Other black inverted Triforce" in the game title icon and he muses that it could mean "Another Triforce in Another World".
So it seems the plot is going to be about obtaining the other Triforce, or keeping it out of the hands of Ganon's minions, or else he'll be resurrected.

No it shows I didn't finish the game because I gave up on it. Some things contributing to that were the linear train tracks, because it was really fun missing my turn or playing keepaway with the evil trains (no it wasn't), the treasures being completely random, and the escort missions forcing you to obey the "rules" of the tracks while being assaulted, even when those rules don't apply when not on a mission.
The dungeons weren't bad and neither were the parts where I could actually control Link. But the train segments were awful enough for me to drop the game. Not to mention the Spirit Flute bits since I'm color blind.

Because you aren't carrying a person, they aren't "rules" they're how the person wants to be treated.

Nah, that would be stupid. But what do you think makes up this dark triforce? Cowardice, stupidity, and weakness?
