as formulaic as a chemistry set

Totally unbiased article about it.
It's based on my personal favorite Zelda game, A Link to the Past, and will feature an original storyline and entirely new dungeons.
Original storyline.

Ahahahahahahahahaha
The A in this case stands for Armageddon. As in, Armageddon a boner because this plane has a fucking HOWITZER sticking out of it.

i hate explaining myself can you tell

I'm just pointing out how silly it is to say that the next Zelda game will feature a new story when they are all built around a tight formula.

Clearly it works and the games are very popular, and I know the stories do have their distinctions, I'm just poking fun at the wording.

Formula is in no way equivalent to story.

That is an incredibly silly thing to say.

You're kinda contradicting yourself there. If you say that the stories have their distinction, why do you first say that there's any link (pun not intended) between the story & the never-changing (and succesful) formula?

Because.

It was a joke.

Clearly one I should never try making again.

Ever since I noticed that Exeres adds comments to his post in the subject area I've been enjoying his posts an awful lot.

I don't see any joke in there, but I'll stop whining about it. :P

OT: Can't wait for the Oracles to be released in the eShop as well. Never played Seasons and never finished Ages, when I was a kid I somehow didn't finish any 2D Zelda that wasn't called ALttP

I think Exeres is trying to say that the story in Zelda games tends to be incredibly formulaic, which is of course intended.
