Twilight Princess fan here.

I liked the games graphics, and I definitely loved the navigator alot more than I did the one in Ocarina. Actually, to be perfectly honest, Im not much of an Ocarina fan, and no I will not hail it as one of the best things ever. Even on 3DS. That might sound like a sin, but remember, we all like what we like. Man though, the Oracle games were so much fun, specially Ages.

You know, I built the Black Tower on Minecraft.

Used Multiverse to make the Magic Stair Room too ^w^ Was so much fun. Took me two months to build it, that obsidian was NOT spawned.

I liked TP. Not perfect by any means, but I enjoyed it quite a bit. I especially thought all the temples were great.

I've only ever seriously played PH, ST (to an extent), and Ages.

I played PH until I decided that I refused to play through the Ocean King's temple for the last time as sold it.
I played ST for a while and it actually seemed pretty okay, but then my flashcart stopped working.
Ages is the same story as PH here, but I got a lot farther. I'd say it was definitely my favorite of the bunch.

I've tried TP, Wind Waker, LttP, and Ocarina, but none of them really did anything for me and I never played more than twenty minutes. I can't really pin anything about any of them that genuinely bothered me, though, so I might give WW another shot before SS comes out; it seemed the closest to what I liked about Ages.

So speaking of Oracle games... age old question:

Ages or Seasons?

I personally found Seasons too easy and boring... I loved the puzzles in Ages and the boss fights had more strategy (like the cloud boss and the stone robot thing that had 4 forms).

Also, am I the only one that liked The Temple of the Ocean King? I thought it was neat that as you progressed, you could take alternate routes and shortcuts to make the floors go by faster.

Plus, it was great when you got the Phantom Sword and could kill all of those bastards.

And I liked to time myself, trying to use as little time as I could to reach my objective.

I wouldn't necessarily want the idea to be played on repeatedly in the series, but it was kinda fun.

Actually, I've thought back and realized I was wrong-it wasn't the final trip that made me give up, it was the third.
My game cart lost contact when I was bodaciously a few seconds away from the final ocean chart.

I never finished Seasons because I got to that bit where you have to get the gems for that big gate and walk around the looping wood in a certain way but it never fucking worked and I had no idea why

I liked the plot of Ages more and thought the time mechanic was cooler, but Seasons had Subrosia and I fucking loved Subrosia.

So it's a difficult choice.

Never played the Oracles games, but I'd probably like the one that had more puzzles in it, because I'm a total puzzle whore.

That's a really tough choice.

I loved the overworld in Seasons much more than Ages; Holodrum was such a massive land and Subrosia added even more depth (haaaaaa!) to it. Ages had a much more solid story and some incredibly challenging dungeons.

If I had to choose, I guess I'd go with Seasons, but only by a slim margin. I just really liked Holodrum and the game's straightforwardness never makes me regret playing certain parts, unlike Ages. Those fucking Tokays and the entirety of Jabu-Jabu's Belly, good lord

I loved both because that was the only way to see the true ending.
But I guess I like ages better, because season's dungeon six was rage inducing (the one with the magic boomerang). It was for me at least. I guess ages was just better overall too.

Holy Shiiiiiiit.

It's not a terrible review, really, but the control problems haven't really been discussed on other reviews, so I'm wondering if they were having a problem with it, or everyone just had a more favorable opinion of it.

Also, I can't help but feel that while they're very honest in this review, other reviews on the site seem to gloss over flaws, one thing I don't much care for about gamespot.

However, it was an interesting read, and I can inly imagine what the fanbase is going to do about the score.

The word next to the review score still reads "Good", and the review says that the good points outweigh the bad ones.
I don't see the problem here, other than numeric game review scores being full of shit. 75 out of 100 should be "above average", not "average", and it seems Gamespot has treated it that way.

Wow 7.5? Predictable format? Its Zelda! That's like playing a Mario game and being angry that there are no fist person segments!

Well they're both pretty precitable.
I mean, like you said, it's Zelda.
