The Legend of Zelda
Re: The Legend of Zelda
No man that was the fire temple
Since this is garbled English, please refer to the brutal attack of confusion.
Re: The Legend of Zelda
It was an Ice Temple, but then both this and Ycobb's posts united.

No guys, it's clearly Gan- I mean, Ghirahim's Castle. I mean, what kind of royal demon would he be if he didn't have a large body of moving water in his living quarters?
Re: The Legend of Zelda
Finally got around to preordering skyward sword, the collectors edition. The clerk asked if I wanted the walk-through to go with it. What's the point the point of playing a puzzle/adventure game if you are just going to use a walkthrough? That just leaves the fighting. I'm not going to pay $50 just to fight enemies in legend of zelda.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I prefer online guides to make sure I find everything in the game. I'll probably want a reference to see what upgrades to weapons provide which result (in case they do branch, if not, it'll help me find out what I need to hoard to get X upgrade). It baffles me that some people buy/want guides for certain games. I remember one of my friends being upset that they couldn't find a guide for the 3rd Phoenix Wright game. Here's a solution, save the game, and present EVERYTHING.
However, the only guides I willingly buy (mom inevitably buys me guides for games she gets me for Christmas, there's no arguing with her anymore) are for Pokemon games, mostly because I prefer flipping through a phonebook-sized book to get my Pokedex information than going to sites like Serebii. I guess I'm weird like that.

Without fail, every time I find a piece of already-released media I am interested in, I always look at the plot/meaning/walkthrough at least weeks before I actually get my hands on it.
I have no idea why. Maybe I have an extremely strong sense of curiosity.
Hopefully Skyward Sword will be the exception once it's released.

And I'm the exact opposite. I watch only enough trailers to know how the game works and the basic story, then I find everything out on my own.
Then if I get extremely stuck when I play the game, I either give up on it or give in and find a walkthrough.

It turns out there is no left-handed mode: http://www.ign.com/blogs/bullseye2/2011 ... qus_thread
Frankly, as a right-handed person, I am not disappointed.
Also, look up the definition of "cistern", and you might stop questioning what kind of dungeon it is.

Is it just me, or does the Ancient Cistern look a little too much like that one dungeon from Okami? (Tsuta Ruins)

It really does. But without the poison water and the angry fruit throwing trees.electronic goat wrote:Is it just me, or does the Ancient Cistern look a little too much like that one dungeon from Okami? (Tsuta Ruins)
I guess I won't mind as long as the boss isn't a spider-queen youkai. After all, Tsuta Ruins were fun.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Did the Tsuta Ruins have a lot of water in it? I don't even remember. I also don't remember it being shellacked in gold.
But they're both pretty and asiany so sure.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I like to use guides when I'm trying to 100% a game and can't figure out what I'm missing for that last 2%.
