This intro definitely makes me more excited for Skyward Sword. It also answers a few questions. For example, we now know that people did not always lives in the cloud before this point in the timeline.

It is Silent Realm. I think Siren Realm is a sort of "Engrish" mistranslation. Try saying "silent" in Engrish. Get it now?

Did anyone notice, about 30-some seconds in, that the demon in that intro looked kind of like Ganon from Faces of Evil?

Because I noticed that.
And I couldn't stop laughing.

The goddess has indeed sealed away an evil most foul...

Imagine if it gets unleashed during the game?

Will your sword be enough?

Join me, Link, and I will make your face the greatest in Koridai, OR ELSE YOU WILL DIE!

The goddess' name is "Hylia", apparently. Now that is interesting.

So I'm really digging the newly-revealed Ancient Cistern.

As far as "water temples" go, it seems fairly unique.
please stop that right now

I started a 3-heart run on that game about a year ago, got bored at the sky temple and didn't pick it back up.
I should.

So I played it a little today. The controls were very, very nice; the fighting was more moment-to-moment and exciting than past games, you can't just slash willy-nilly and expect to win against a lot of your enemies. The graphical style worked really well for the story they were telling, and all-in-all it had a really nice feel to it; the same basics are there, but it really feels like an entirely new adventure, which is nice.

A lack of income may make me put off buying Skyward Sword a little bit...
this makes me sad

Or it could have been a very unorthodox Forest Temple.
