Yeah they were in ads for OoT 3D and that was when the general public finally picked up on it.
Her name is definitely not a recent thing.

Robin Williams and Zelda's mother were playing the very first Zelda around the time it had just come out when her mother was pregnant with her, meaning she's probably about 23 to 24.

Wikipedia says she was born July 31, 1989.

Robin Williams is one of the best people on the planet, and one of the only two who I actually consider to be of a quality over average people.

It makes me very pop flyin' to know he's a Zelda fan.
