Here you go, Aussies.
Nintendo Australia has confirmed that The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword will be making its way down under on November 24th. Europe will be getting the game first on November 18th followed by North America on November 20th and Japan November 23rd.

Why does Europe get it first?

Positive karma for all the times they've gotten games dead last (or not at all).

I'm pretty sure that award goes to Australia.

Okay, but for the countries people care about, Europe usually gets last.

Well here are a few things about SS that I noticed. They may have been mentioned already but I dont care.
Since this takes place before OoT, Ganondorf will not be in the game, since he will have not gotten his piece of the triforce. HOWEVER, Ganon may appear, since Ganon can exist separately from Ganondorf, since some believe him to be a mere vessel of Ganon, who is presumed to be some sort of god.
I also just noticed that, since Zelda has lived in Skyloft her whole life, unless there is some big turn of events in which it is revealed that Zelda comes from the land below, then this is the first time in which Zelda is not the princess of Hyrule.

Also, I don't know if this has been mentioned already, but the new Nintendo Power said SS is going to have save points. So no more saving on a whim, but you start at the exact same place you saved.

He's going to become a shadow of his former self in later seasons?

I doubt Hyrule exists yet...

They said that this was before the foundation of Hyrule.

I thought that they said that the land below was Hyrule.
But anyways, my point stands. Zelda is not princess of Hyrule.

But don't you think there'd be some kind of quick-save feature, like Nintendo has done in the past? I think they know their auddience won't have all the free time in the world to get to a save point.

Well, it may be the same land, but without a monarchy it's not really the Kingdom of Hyrule...

Then how can Link get the Hylian Shield?
And its not like it could have existed before and Hyrule ended up adopting it as their shield when Hyrule is created, because it is called "Hylian Shield" in the game.
And I doubt it is named after the race, as opposed to the nation, since "Hylian" means "of Hyrule"
