My Gamestop lets me pay for my pre-orders in sets, essentially.

With Sonic Colors, I paid like 30 bucks up front, they reserved my shit. I got the rest up in the between period, and paid the rest off when I got the game.

This is why I pre-order everything I am entirely sure I want on launch day. Other than that, I really don't see a point if you're going to pre-order something you may not want later, but fuck me I do love having a game I've been waiting for on the first day.

Do stores where you live usually sell out of games? Because around here they never run low.

The midnight buy line for Portal 2? Three blocks long. Pre-order line wasn't that long but holy shit like half them dudes were not getting a game and i think they knew it.

Well I don't really pay attention to non Pokemon/Zelda games but they've never been a problem around here.

Gamestop around here is notorious for only ordering just enough games to fill pre-orders, and the other stores that cover games either require an additional 10% cost for pre-ordering, or don't get it until Tuesday (Wal-mart).

So I have to bite the bullet on Gamestop to get the games.

Plus, I don't fuck with big name titles. Brawl had to turn away people that pre-ordered because of demand (because a fuckton of people preordered on Saturday afternoon and GS couldn't do anything about their supply (and they weren't about to turn away paying customers)).

I just buy things from Best Buy, and if I really care I get there when it opens and I do fine. But again, I only worry about Zelda/Pokemon.

And I just beat Vaati in Four Swords...2 hours of gameplay.

That's essentially it (besides the 3 added levels). It wasn't made to be a giant game, just a way to get 4 people to play together and test out the idea (which would eventually become a full length game FSA). I'm hoping that if people enjoy this game a lot, we might see a another Four Swords game come out for the 3DS or even the WiiU. I've liked the Four Swords games, and I'd really like to see more of them.

So, I've gotten all the gold keys, beat Vaati again after going through the second path, and now, I need to unlock the third path, by getting 5000 rupees in the three main stages.
And man, that trial of heroes, I have no idea how I beat it.

I've never had any trouble buying games on launch day!

I think Gamestop and other game-specific stores are kind of unreliable--I buy all my stuff at department stores and have never run into an issue.
