Link needs Claw Shot Boots.
Re: The Legend of Zelda
Well how would that work?
And I want to play as Link, not Spider-Man.

Ingenious. You should work at Nintendo. I can see how dangling upside down by one leg would make a great gameplay mechanic.Stu_Pidasl wrote:Link needs Claw Shot Boots.

So, Adventure of Link. Grind for hours or just go Gung Ho and hope I dodge everything?
And on Skyward Sword, we've seen so many items already, how many are there left for us to discover?

They did say that they're giving you a lot of items early on so you can have a lot to use (and upgrade), since they don't like that the "cool items" are gotten near the end of the game and barely get any use (magic rod from Awakening).

Go to the part of Hyrule south of Ruto.
Walk in the swamp.
Kill Octorocks for 10 EXP each until your max EXP for your level is 1000. Level up one more time. Now go to Death Mountain and continue to die repeatedly because of the fuckers with the axes.

The dungeons seem so much easier when you don't die nigh instantaneously. I only have the final palace left now! Though, the road leading to it? Impossible to traverse. Eyes + pits = haha, why...

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Are you on the right path? 'Cause you just keep heading right/whatever the only direction is. Or if it's the enemies, the red axe guy, jump over his axes, wait until he stops throwing to strike, then hit and start dodging again. Orange axe, I dunno, run forward, stab, run back out of attack range, repeat. Hit and run basically. And shield is invaluable, don't forget.
This would all be less painful if sword beams damaged all enemies and not just some. Trust me, the enemies get a LOT worse later on.

This is an impossible thing you ask of me.Guyperson wrote:Or if it's the enemies, the red axe guy, jump over his axes, wait until he stops throwing to strike, then hit and start dodging again.
Mostly because by the time I GET to the Red Axe, I'm pretty fucked on life and have to use... well, Life, to recharge. This means I have no magic for even Shield.
goddamn this mountain, and all of it's death

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Well, patience, hit and run, and hope for magic jar drops is all I can suggest. And grinding. And that extra life, but you should really save that since they don't respawn.
