I don't think there'll be mirror shields and stuff...since this is pre-Hyrule, I don't think any of the relics and such will be there.

I wonder if SS Link's pants are just upgraded tights.

Tech has nothing to do with it, the mirror shield was a relic...then again, it was in MM so it's probably just an item they throw in when they feel like it.

That just means if a Mirror Shield shows up, this would be the game where it was made.

I remember the creators of Zelda being serious assholes to all of their fans. And they tickled the head of their pulsating video game timeline peens by saying there was a canon timeline and they had a chart for it, and that only two people in the world know it, and that's the creator and the creators closet friend. They also said that Skyward sword was the first game in the timeline.

Unless you agree with the stubborn timeline nerds theorists repeatedy claiming that Minish Cap came first, and that there's no way any other Zelda game could come before it.

But why would anyone listen to a fan over the head of the franchise?

Miyamoto said he may cease making Zelda games if Skyward Sword is not one of the best Zelda games in the entire franchise.

So depending on how much faith you put into that statement and how good you think Skyward Sword will be, and of course if you believe the head honchos stating that SS is the first game chronologically, it could be.

Well I bought SS. Honestly it's one of the few Zelda games I've bought. So I have high expectations.

I heard that the first wave of games in the US will all have the CD come with it.
Not sure if true, but either way the pre-order is a great deal.

Preordering will net you the soundtrack, and the legendary bundle (game, wiimote, and CD), from what I've heard will ONLY be available in the first wave, and it costs $20 extra.

When does the game officially come out anyways?
