Last time I played TP, I forgot that you can lower the donation price by delivering the hot spring water to the Goron at the bridge, and ended up running around like crazy looking for rupees.

It wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to look for those stupid bugs to get a big enough wallet.

I liked bug hunting. : D

And they weren't really hard to find, the males and females were always near each other.

Two rooms into the Master Quest's Fire Temple.

Already had to deal with two timed torch-lighting puzzles.

NOPE.

FINALLY,
PEACE RETURNS TO HYRULE.

God daisies, second quest was a bitch. Final dungeon was easier to navigate than first quest's, and I even found all heart pieces/bomb upgrades, but otherwise god daisies. 198 deaths throughout first and second quest together.

Is Master Quest really that hard to beat?

It really hasn't been too much harder. If anything, it's the powered-up enemies that give me more trouble than the actual dungeons. It's just....timed torch-lighting puzzles? Really?! And I have to use Din's Fire frequently without being able to get the magic upgrade?

I don't know if this is helpful or not, but in OoT master quest, I did the water temple before the fire temple, to get the fire arrows. Those timed torch puzzles weren't as hard then.

That's.....actually a really good idea. I may try that out, though I think I'll need to grab the Biggoron's Sword to demolish Dark Link without the hammer.

The Legendary version is the only thing I asked for for Christmas.

Also, what do you think of the upgrade system? I like that they're trying new things, if they do it right it could be a really nice addition.

I would love if they added a short sword as a shield replacemnt, unlockable fairly late in the game. It should be harder to use, but if you can master it it suddenly becomes fdar more stronger than the shield

I actually kind of like the upgrade system! I didn't think something like that could work in a Zelda game, but it's really cool. I'm kind of hoping that most weapons have branching upgrade paths and stuff, just for replay value. It also makes me wonder if fidning a "level 2" version of an item in later dungeons...won't be happening? Like, is the Mirror Shield just at the end of the shield's upgrade, or would it be a separate item found later? These are the questions people!

Would the mirror shield be breakable, and need repairs, like the regular shield? Would it just be unbreakable? Would it have some sort of downside to being unbreakable if it is? How would you fix a magical piece of glass so easily and quickly anyway if it's breakable? And is it even going to be in the game?

Anyway, Zelda 2: Adventure of Link. I can either choose to grind my booty off before heading into Death Mountain maze, or go in and die again. Where are the good grinding spots?

I hope they have a day/night system. The day slowly progresses into night and NPC's constantly move around and do things ect. ect.

Also cheatcodes are great grinding spots.

I love the upgrade system, and I agree with Craw. If there is a branching upgrade that would fucking awesome. If it is just a linear upgrade system than I think that I would be rustled.
