These are things I noticed in the gameplay trailer.

At the very beginning, after Link drops through the clouds, he is swinging from a rope. We have seen this before, but there seems to be a fat, fluffy creature from a previous trailer flat its belly. Another one of those fluffy things is seen right near the Bigblin. Spiderwebs can be cut through, without the need to be burned. Makes more sense. Swimming seems to be controlled by tilting the Wii Remote.

Bigblins from Spirit Tracks are back. They were seen in a previous trailer. It seems Link can dash to leap off their shields, over their heads. Those Bigblins are working those nipple ornaments. Did anyone else see they giant hermit crab creature where the sand lowers all at once? There looks to be an evil-looking Wind Fish with eyeball tentacles along its back. At the very end of the trailer is a Beamos-type enemy.

There are many fun tidbits to catch here and there. The Hylian bird symbol often seen on the Hylan Shield has no head, nor does it have a Triforce on it. This is actually noticable in previous trailers. The Triforce seems to have some notability in this game; it still appears on the shield.

The Double Clawshots, Gust Jar, Bug-Catching Net, and Mole Mitts are back. They look much like their previous forms. There is also a parachute that acts much like the Deku Leaf from The Wind Waker. The Gust Jar seems to serve the same function as before, but it is controlled with the Motion Plus as most things are. It is used to defeat a tiny scorpion (Gohma?) and flying pufferfish. Link uses the Skyward Sword as a dowsing device and find a plot of suspcious dirt. When he digs through the dirt, he appears to be wearing the mitts.

Beedle returns to break you for every Rupee to your name. It seems he is in a flying machine, like in Spirit Tracks, but it is not clear if it is a balloon again. It could be blimp for all we know. It seems he is selling an odd Piece of Heart coin and a yellow bag.

The Silent Realm, or Siren World, whichever, has guardian enemies like the Phantoms from Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. Entering the Silent World leaves Link without his weapons, and it requires stealth to get through. I liked Metal Gear Solid, and I know we cannot always run and gun, so this works for me. Plus, it will give me a break from flailing my arms around since I will not be using the sword. In the Silent Realm, there are Poe-like creatures that will spot you and alert the guardians, much like the Phantom Eyes.

One of the last things in the trailer is Zelda standing in front of a large gear. She appears to be wearing simpler clothes than usual, and the gear looks exactly like the large symbol on the box art of the game. Ghirahim charges in shortly after, with shattering glass all around him.

Wait, so is Beedle going to become an official recurring character other than his cel-shaded games appearances?

This game is technically cel-shaded, despite Nintendo's comments on how it is not cel-shaded. That is like them calling Metroid Prime a First-Person Adventure game instead of a First-Person Shooter. There is still shooting, Nintendo.

Unless the spinner gets an "always freakishly fast beyond belief" setting, I don't want it back.
Also, since I've preordered my game at gamestop, am I getting the bonus soundtrack and gold wiimote+? Or should I just go ask next time I'm there?

In other news, Zelda I second quest is the hardest thing I've played. RED BUBBLES, WHY YOU KEEP PERMAJINXING ME?

If you pre-ordered the game, you get the CD (unless gamestop is going to be an asshole about it, but they usually do the pre-order bonuses correctly). You only get the Wiimote if you get the "Legendary" version (or whatever it's called), and that costs $70. If you paid $50, you're getting the game and CD.

Those things were a pain in the butt. You can unpermajinx yourself by touching a blue bubble.

That doesn't help when the only blues in this dungeon were near the beginning, which was blocked off by a closed door. God, just why isn't there a way to kill them?

Just to screw with you. The only thing you can do is avoid them.

I remember reading somewhere that Skyward Sword is set before Zelda becomes a princess.

Also, I feel bad for not liking the new artstyle. It looks ok in-game, even if it's too flashy in my opinion, but I just don't like the artworks.

The thing about her not being a princess is true. We can assume that the kingdom of Hyrule has not even been founded yet.

I love the new watercolor, washed-out looking art style. I would go so far as to call it my favorite in the series.

Consider it better than having to buy from Malo all the time.

How a 5 year old can manage a shop let alone a Wal-Mart chain in Hyrule is beyond me. Let the strange black man in flying bombable machines have his way.
WHERE IS THIS MERLIN I KEEP HEARING OF

What harm could come from imprisoning a hellinternet beast every night and making it hate humanity and what it stands for?
Then we can release it back into the wild.

Malo was one of the best things about Twilight Princess.
