One of them was going to pretty much be the same map as the original zelda (i'm guessing thats why a lot of the seasons bosses were just old bosses) And they would have to rework Ages and Seasons way too much to fit that game in.
Well, originally the trio were going to be remakes of the Original two Zelda games and a new Zelda, but then that plan was scraped and they were going to make 3 Oracle games that connected with passwords and focused on different gameplay mechanics (Ages would have time travel, Secrets would have seasons, colors, and time of day (apparently), and IDK what the precursor to Seasons was going to have). However, the only reason it didn't work out was because they couldn't figure out how to make the password system work in a triangle (besides, players could defeat the games in any order, such as "Ages -> Seasons -> Secrets" "Seasons -> Ages -Secrets" "Secrets -> Seasons -> Ages" etc.) and they weren't sure people were going to be willing to buy three games. They felt Secrets was the most restrictive (apparently you had to solve puzzles at certain times of the day to proceed, and they thought that would put off gamers that had to use the internal clock (like in Gold and Silver) to wait for the right time), so it was axed, the Rod of Seasons went to OoS as were the old bosses (also carried over from the original plan to remake the original Zelda game), and Farore was relegated to the keeper of passwords in the two games.
However, elements of the third game remain in the duo, namely the fact that there's a third flame to go along with the flames of Despair and Destruction, which would have likely been lit by finishing the Secrets game and some other things I'm forgetting off the top of my head (daisies 3 am).
To me though, I don't think it would be too hard to make the third game and there wouldn't be a need to change much (if anything) in the other Oracle games. The way I see it, they could include the two games on the same cart, allow the player to play through either Ages or Seasons, after they beat that, they essentially play the "new game plus" (I.E. linked version) of the other one that they didn't play. After they beat THAT, rather than fighting Twinrova and Ganon, the player unlocks the Secrets game (which was originally based in Hyrule), plays through that (with cameos of characters from both Seasons and Ages), and finally ends with the Twinrova and Ganon fight (possibly upgraded into a "final dungeon" ala Ganon's Tower of sorts. With this, the Secrets game will always be the final game of the trio, and only inserts itself directly between Ages/Seasons and the "final battle" from the linked game.
That would definitely be a great remake of the games and expand the content enough to where I definitely wouldn't mind paying $40 for that as a 3DS game (even if it's still entirely sprite based).

I never heard of them remaking Zelda II. Pretty sure it was just the first game and then the two other worlds.

Yeah, even if you don't remember the name you know which guy I'm talking about, the lokomo with the drums. If you've played this game before you'll remember that this was the song that took you countless times to get right until you realized what you were doing wrong. All I can say is thank god I remembered how to do it right from my first playthrough.
I can't get by the fifth Lokomo with the oboe or whatever. Man I love this game but the Spirit Flute just has a retarded learning curve.

Yeah, I was going to say that Jimmy Fallon pisses me off, and that nobody is actually going to do that. It will be more challenging if you play correctly.

Wait until the camera fully zooms in on Link before you start blowing.

Actually the trick was to listen to the metronome in the background and time with that.

Man I listen to the metronome and I feel like I'm hitting it, but I must be doing something wrong! I think it's just really tough for people who aren't musically-inclined in the least. Ah well, still love the game.

So yeah, I'm having fun with the Nintendo Gallery in Wind Waker.
It is just slightly annoying only being able to carry 3 images at a time, and having to play the song of passing twice to wait for the guy to make the figure.

The trick with the Lokomo, any of them, is to wait until the camera zooms in on you and then spam the first two notes mercilessly.
Fuck the desert Lokomo when doing it the "normal" way.

It's funny, because it was only Embrose I had trouble with. Rael and Zelda, first try success.
You know what reeeeeaaaly sucks trying to do? The sword minigame, trying to get over 900 points. In fact, the only reason I'm posting right now is because my thumb hurts too much to continue it right now.

Went birthday shopping for several people. Got a Twilight Princess Belt Buckle. That's a gift for Omnithea. Today at work I showed it off. Caption above my head said, "Everyday I'm adventurin'."

"I like...you...Ma...ggie...so...much...that...I...want...to...eat you...for dinner."
"Did you hear that? Those words? This means... I mean, it must mean...can it be...?!? Is this his marriage proposal?!"
