I bought OoT3D yesterday.
It's my favorite way to play OoT now.

I still can't do it because I almost always play with one of my friends and he likes the FF, so I just hand the controller over to him, so I've never really done it all the way through.Syobon wrote:Are you me? I remember one of the times I were going back to the fortress, but then I didn't know how to get into it and I quit for like a month or so before returning. I then found out I needed to do this little thing I forgot to do first.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
You know I breezed the FF, I stuck around for dicking arounds sake but I never found it that hard.
Hell even the whole find the triforce shards went by easily enough, I just got them as I dicked around in the sea.
Hell I'm on the final battle wit Ganon and the only reason I haven't beat it is because I' one of those people who are like "No don't end yet!" And also my WII is in a drawer while the mighty PS3 takes its place.

The shards were easy enough, but it just took forever to do. It was really tedious. Especially when I had to grind for enough rupees to pay Tingle.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I had more than enough in the way of rupees.
I only remembered to go to tingle when my wallet got full and I wanted to get rid of the rupees.
Nothing worse than running around with a full sack.....of cheddar.

We're triplets apparently...Syobon wrote:Are you me? Although I've done it again when I was older and now it was a breezeChekt wrote:Ugh, I hate the Forsaken Fortress in WW.

I got lost in FF the first time I did it... took me forever to reach the first lookout, the second was easy, and the third was a royal pain to get to... Also, I forever hate the Moblin statues in there... I got shot with lasers by one of them for walking on the ground in a room, and I became paranoid for the rest of my time in FF.
Bad memories make me hate it... but it's fairly easy now... besides having to sneak past moblins in the barrel going super slow... :/

I want to play through a Zelda game without getting any Pieces of Hearts or Heart Containers.

Have fun!
Try doing that in TP.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I might, but I just re-beat TP a few weeks ago.
I'm going through WW now, but I've already done 2 temples so it is too late. Maybe I'll run through OoT on the Virtual Console and do it.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Actualy MM seems a pretty popular 3 heart run game.
TP seems to be the easiest IMO.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
Well, I do have MM on my Wii's VC, but I've never played it. So I wouldn't be confidant enough

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I can't really say "Run through it a few times" Seeing as how that's pretty impossible for any Zelda game. But why not just give it a shot and see if you'd be up to it.
Re: The Legend of Zelda
Started Wind Waker for the first time....I like the style.
