Playing master quest, I got to Jabu Jabu. Suddenly Cows, thousands of them.

Well it does sound like you want your hand held then. Exploring and figuring things out is part of the fun.

I think there's a difference between exploration and just being stupid. I shouldn't have to GUESS in order to try and get something done, and even then 90% of the time I'm wrong.

It wasn't a bad game by all accounts. The dungeons were fantastic, and the story was pretty good. It's just that ONE point. Anger. Anger everywhere.

At the end of the game Ganon uses the magical plot device here to steal all the heart containers Link has from the bosses and it turns him into a something big an scary and hard to beat. But if you did a three heart run it'd just be a standard Ganon fight. And if Link collected the rest from side quests and the like it'd turn Ganon into a super pain in the urethra mega boss of sorts and you'd have to fight him with three hearts.
Sounds cool.

Whoops didn't mean to start a whole discussion there of the best Zelda game. My favorite is Wind Waker, by the way. OoT is just the "definitive" Zelda game, because it truly defines the series at its core. It's a good, solid game, but there are still better ones.

I have a friend who won't buy it because there's a train and i guess fucking technology doesn't belong in Zelda games. Sometimes I don't even know.

I never had the opportunity to play the Oracle games. I should remedy that...

idk Zelda games have fucking lasers, record players, telephones, cameras, and all this other weird stuff. Great Bay Temple had fluorescent lighting.

Technology in my Zelda games doesn't seem to matter as long as it's a predominantly medieval setting.

Aliens and electric...fish skeletons.

Followup on above post. My creative side got the better of me.

"Nayru... Poured her wisdom onto the earth and gave the spirit of law to the world." - After decades, maybe centuries, of living underground, "Nayru" is a reference to the first people to emerge onto the surface after the fallout cleared. (INB4 Gurren Lagann)

"Farore... With her rich soul, produced all life forms who would uphold the law." - Farore is a reference to the people who survived the fallout on the surface, mutating into humanoid offsets (Deku, Gorons, Zora, and of course, the Kokiri, who have grown dependent upon their environment, which explains the girl who claims "Kokiri will die if they leave the forest". They are also the only race immune to the radiation harbored in the Forest Temple, which explains the girl who states that "if anyone who isn't Kokiri stays in the Lost Woods for too long, they become a Stalfos.")

yes nuclear fallout is really good for cultivating land, it's what all the pros use
