Yessssss
This time we should get excited about the tech demo.

I know I can't wait. I still need a 3DS, though, so...
Re: The Legend of Zelda
Ten bucks says history repeats itself: the tech demo is a bait-and-switch, we get a cel-shaded game, and we all hate it until years after it comes out.

I preordered Ocarina of Time. I never had the original for my N64, so I am excite.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
The 3D is awesome but it's kind of hard to stay in the soft spot, and I've experienced mild ghosting, I tried moving around without success. It's usually not noticeable though and the effect is impressive most of the time, so it's cool.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
My left eye hasn't worked right since I was born, so turning on the 3D just makes my game look a little darker and gives me doublevision. Sucks, but the game is just as awesome with the 3D as it is without.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
The only time the 3D was weird for me was when in the credits the sages turn into balls of light flying through the sky, also Navi when she was flying away at the end. I don't know what it is about glowing balls of light in 3D that went wrong here, because even when I held one eye closed it was still double the amount of glowing balls. But when I turned off the 3D it was just one. So yeah.

God I still hate the water temple. Did it and half of the fire temple (had half of it done when I quit playing last) so it's on the the Shadow Temple next. AKA The temple I never beat as a kid.

It's just I always seem to miss 1 key and then I have to lower and raise the water like 3 full times till I remember it was the key in one of the first rooms. Like the bomb wall.Chekt wrote:Never quite got what was so hard about the Water Temple to people...
Once I get past Dark Link, then I'm golden.

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I guess I can understand it being frustrating, but I've played through that game probably at least 20 times, so its a breeze for me, heh. But Dark Link is always huge pain in the booty. I always need to make sure I have a fairy or two just to beat him. T_T

Re: The Legend of Zelda
I found it easier to fight him without using targeting with a combination of Din's Fire. Downed him really quick today.
