For those of you who are interested, a review of Ocarina of Time 3DS.

I am going to be getting a 3DS sooner because of this review.

Undecided as to whether I'll get that.

I don't like giving Nintendo new cheddar for old rope, but I have felt the draw toward playing a Zelda game lately.

I can understand that, but this is far more a remastering than a rerelease.

A lot of work has gone into making it look really rather beautiful (no more 'buildings that look like .gifs on the inside'), and the touch and motion controls are quite responsive and intuitive from what I've heard.

Are you still able to simply use the control stick to aim like the original? I'm going to look like an idiot on the bus if I have to actually rotate the thing around my head.

Bought the OoT remake game today. Got a golden case and free poster with it even though I didn't pre-order it.

It's really good so far and I like the 3D.

I got it too. I'm really impressed, with it AND the 3DS.

Got it too. I have to say I'm pretty impressed, even though I've already played the previous OoTs numerous times.

I think the new OoT seems cool with revamped graphics and the motion-sensor aim, but the I only problem I have is against the 3DS. So far, from what I've seen, The 3D doesn't look that great or different. I've been to GameStop and demoed Street Fighter, and the 3d just doesn't cut it for me I think. Anyone else feel differently, like the 3d is astounding? Also, NO GAMEBOY ADVANCE SLOT! That's why I love my ds lite.

GBA is 2 generations old. aside from the atari and the 7800 , no video game company has really added backwards compatibility to 2 generations ago.

GBA has things like Golden Sun I and II + Fire Emblem games + various other RPG's.

They're still relevant.

You know, the N64 has Super Mario RPG but I don't see a cartridge slot on my Wii

Didn't they release that again on the Wii store?

Anyways, guess that's what emulators are for. To allow playing of games that are no longer possible to attain from the manufacturer.

Except that excuse doesn't work when you can get it from the Wii Virtual Console, they still benefit from sales. Whether they're manufacturing the cartridges is irrelevant.

No I can't. Wii doesn't like my router. Also my Wii is slowly dying, which will take everything I've already bought with it.
