Not sure if this has been heard about here already or not as it is fairly old but thought I might post it just the same.

Apparently some person by the name of Mr. Tingle released about 15-20 or so "facts" about the upcoming zelda title on a 2chan board which apparently has a reputation for accurate info leaks on games. I'm a bit too lazy to find the exact link so here's a youtube vid that goes into detail about em. For those not willing to or are too lazy it basically says that its gonna be a 'sequel' of Majora's Mask which I think would be freakin sweet.

I don't know what "the VS" is.
But I want more 2D Zelda. By Nintendo. Not Capcom.
I'm not sure you've you've played the ones by Capcom. They are eternally more fun than Phantom Hourglass or Spirit Tracks (that's saying something in regards with Spirit Tracks).

They had so many interesting gameplay features including the Rod of Seasons, Harp of Ages, and the Minish Cap and they actually did 'em well.

Also, first real female bad guy (we need more of those):

Yeah. Capcom did both of the amazing Oracle games, not to mention Minish Cap. While MC was short, it was probably one of the best versions of modern 2-D Zelda (and the last pretty much...). Spirit Tracks was an amazing game from Nintendo, but Capcom knows their stuff about the series. Let's not forget they're gods at making music (sixteen original pieces for the Oracle dungeons, that's more than Nintendo could ever do).

Sass.

But no, I'm totally looking forward to a good, new, actual 3-D Zelda game.

A Link to the Past is superior.
I played The Minish Cap (didn't finish it) and it was just weird. It didn't feel like Zelda to me. Maybe because the main antagonist was Vaati and not Ganon. Maybe because I didn't play enough Zelda games. But still.

I thought the DS ones were good, but I like Toon Link better than Adult Link anyway. They can't beat the SNES/N64 ones, of course, but they used the DS hardware in very clever ways.
Screw the Temple of the Ocean King and the Spirit Tower, though.

I wanted to play the Oracle games, and Link's Awakening, and all the other Zelda games that I never played, but you know, too many games, too little time.

Its a ways away but its been confirmed that E3 will have some info on it and it'll be out this year. But honestly I'm with you. I want info now rather than later :shakefist:

Nintendo's E3 this year is gonna have a lot.

Zelda Wii, Pikmin 3, the 3DS...

Am I the only one who hated Minish Cap?

The game seemed so small to me (all joking aside) and there was like, absolutely nowhere to explore...

IMO, the Oracle games were the best Zelda games and I'm pretty upset that the 3rd one wasn't made

I thought Minish Cap was too short, and the items you get in dungeons, though unique, were kind of useless.

Regardless, I thought it had good characters, good dungeon design, and the best control out of any handheld Zelda game.

I guess exploring wasn't that great because of all the kinstone business, but there still was a lot in the game.

It wasn't my favorite, but it was still pretty good.

For handhelds, my favorites go:

1) Oracle games

2) Spirit Tracks

3) Minish Cap

A Link to the Past/Four Swords was fun.
