Re: The Big Ol' LetsPlay Thread!

Seeing as I don't know how often I'll be updating this, and since it's going to be almost exclusively written, I don't think this warrants me a thread for a lets play, not that that's ever stopped anyone.
This thread will do just fine anyway.
I bought minecraft today actually and the idea popped into my head of somewhat of a journal log while dicking around in the chat room. So here it is.

I've been sent here to a strange, seemingly uninhabited island of plant life and animals to study its inhabitants and unusual topography, some parts of this island seeming almost impossible to comprehend how they came about.
I've been warned by fellow explorers of dangerous green creatures with a perpetually sad expression that are found on this island and have given me a make-shift disguise, not only to help elude these dangerous creatures, but possibly even to study them. I'm hoping this will be enough to fool the allegedly unintelligent creatures enough that I may be able to roam about them freely with only a mild sense of caution.
As to add to my wilderness excursion, I am without provisions. I am to survive on the natural bounty surrounding me and nothing more.
I should try to get some sort of shelter up before nightfall.

Night 1 entry #1
I have spent most of the day collecting lumber and getting a bit of food, courtesy of the local animals. Which strangely enough, despite being quite mountainous terrain, are pigs, cows, and sheep.
No sign of anything of a threat, I've put together a small camp on a small island just outside the foothills. It's almost nightfall, I should get a bit more lumber and then hunker down for the night.

Night 1 entry #2
I just saw the most outlandish thing, the cows on this island seemed to have evolved in a way that they are capable of swimming, this island is just full of surprises.

Night 1 entry #3
I was so caught up with writing that last entry, I had not noticed my visitors slowly, well, hopping towards my camp. These must be the creatures I've been warned of, they match my disguise, it must be. I've made a small pillar at the east side of my camp to observe them, I hope this is high enough, I have no idea what they are capable of.
I can only assume they have only somehow sensed my presence, as they only seem to be wandering around the area and don't seem to be paying me any mind. However they are drawing ever closer to my camp, and my to...I think one of them see's me.
Yes, yes it's definitely noticed me, it's looking straight at me and hopping slowly up the hill toward my camp site. It is now vigorously trying to enter over the walls, but it can only seem to jump no higher than I can. Looking around I notice another one doing the same thing at the back. They don't seem violent, they seem to be curious where this strange wooden wall has come from and what one of their buddies is doing at the top of it.
I'm going to break for now, I'll write more should I notice anything else.

Day 2 entry #1
As the sun rose over the horizon, I noticed that some creatures I hadn't even noticed began to smolder and eventually burn to death with the sun. These creatures looking almost humanoid. Hopefully I'll be able to see more of them in the coming nights.
The creepers, as I've nicknamed them for their sneaky, almost stalker-like nature, are not having that problem. There are now 5 huddled around my camp. I don't know how I will get around them, but given they have been jumping around for a well over 11 hours now, I highly doubt I'd outlast them without any kind of food in me.
------------------------------------------
Day 2 entry #2
After eluding the creepers, I managed to get to more and more lumber for the day, today almost seeming to go by faster in my attempt to hurry before nightfall. As I was looking for some stone to make some kind of weapon I had heard a startling noise, almost unnatural sounding.
I can't quite describe it, but it sure as hell made me want to get out of the ditch I managed to find myself in.
------------------------------------------
Night 2 entry #1
The creepers do not seem to have come out tonight, giving me the opportunity to observe the other nocturnal inhabitants.
Two specifically.
One being a very human looking creature, that seemed to pop right out of the ground soon after night fall. I can only assume that these are well skilled hunters that hide in the ground during the day, for what ever reason.
The second being outlandishly large spiders, bigger that 2 men, possible even 3 with piercing red eyes.
I'm avoiding these at all costs.
------------------------------------------
Day 3 entry #1
Last night I was attacked by...I don't want to believe it but I have no other way to explain it.
Skeletons
Skeletons that shot arrows no less.
This island is holding many questions but little to no answers, all my possessions are gone and I've woken up in an unfamiliar part of the islands. Clearly a camp is not nearly enough to survive here, building a safe-house is the priority right now.
[I'm assuming that since I died, any progress was erased that I had made, I don't know, but if I die some more, I'll need to find some way for finding my way back to my bases.]
