Also thank you all for all your ideas! I am kinda lost, and you guys are guiding me in... some direction. Whatever it is, I'll do my best!

Artist should be able to bring drawn things to live, it also should depend on his level/drawing skill level. For example, in the beginning he could only draw small and/or useless things, uh... flowers perhaps. And the better he gets, the better/bigger drawings he can produce, for example a bridge, a house, weapons... And at the highest level he could draw big monsters to fight for him, dragons, behemoths...
And the gauge bar would be ink (obvious hurr), and every skill requires a different amount of ink, the bigger/stronger things requiring more ink of course.
