Welcome Now to OBLIVION! An Elder Scrolls Let's Play.
I don't think it's all that funny either. At least, not all at once like that.
It's just that I have to make sure that everyone in this game is dead by the time this is over, or at least almost everyone. Since I'm leaving the Shivering Isles for good, that means that I have to kill a whole bunch of people at once.
It is part of the challenge I have set for this LP.

By the way, I hope you guys REALLY APPRECIATE all this murder, because it can get really frustrating pull off sometimes.
For example, it seems that some NPCs in the Shivering Isles will ALWAYS give you a bounty if you murder them. Always. It doesn't matter if no one sees you and you use a sneak attack, you get a bounty anyway. The knight of Thorn and the Dark Elf guy in the most recent update are examples of this (and hopefully the only examples). It took a million attempts to finally get them to stay down without a bounty. The only way it was possible to do so was to cast a frenzy spell on them so it didn't count as a murder at all.
Hopefully, that's a bug we won't be seeing again.

...Well here I am...
...Being a god...
...And lord of an entire realm.
What
Fun.
...It's weird. I worked so hard to get to where I am now, but now that I'm here, it doesn't seem so great...
...I think I know what I must do.

I bid Haskill farewell. He has been a good magic butler. Although, to be fair, I'm not exactly sure what one would have to do to be a bad magic butler.
I then make my way to the Fringe.

Ah, this desk brings back memories. I remember when this place was just some weird new realm, unfamiliar and messed up. And now I'm ruling it.
And it only took me a few weeks.
You have to admit, that is impressive.

However, I have grown tired of this land of crazy. I've done all that needs doing, saved all that needs saving, killed all who need killing, and everyone else, too.
I never thought I'd say this, but I miss Cyrodil. I'm heading back.
So long, Shivering Isles! Thanks for the memories!

Well, here I am. Back in my old dimension. It really has been a while, hasn't it?

Oh, you. It may have been a while, but I seem to remember not being all too pop flyin' about your behavior when I first went to the Shivering Isles. I'll give you one more chance, but no more, got it?

Shadowmere, unfortunately, does not seem to be present.

I am able to make her appear by simply fast traveling to where I already am.
The Punch Misers are now reunited!

Bravil is right over there, so I guess that shall be our first destination.

Shadowmere may very well be the slowest swimmer in the world.

Seriously, I do not know a single thing that swims slower than this.
It is like she wants to take forever or something.

As soon as we reach land, we are attacked by a few bandits.
Yep, I'm definitely back home.

The first of the bandits ends up dying really quickly. Most would when attacked by an undead horse, a royal heir, and a warrior who beat a god to death with his fists all at once.

Another bandit shows up. Shadowmere gets stuck between them as Martin and her battle to the death.

Shadowmere ends up absorbing most of their blows, even though they are aiming for each other.
It is rather hilarious.
However, soon Martin is knocked unconscious and I end up having to kill the bandit myself.
Must I do everything?

Down the road a bit, I am attacked by a big old angry bear.
I NOW REMEMBER MY INTENSE HATRED OF BEARS
I HATE THEM
ALL OF THEM
AAAAAAALLLLLLLL OF THEM!

The bear goes down really easily, however.
I guess I really grew in strength during my shenanigans in the Shivering Isles.

We then arrive in Bravil. I wonder what amazing adventures await me he-

...Oooooohh yeaaaah...
...the reason I left this dimension was because I was wanted...
...huh...

Oh, well, I've killed things way more threatening than a city guard. This shouldn't be much of a problem.

Martin attacks me, too. Again.
What a huge pain...

Anyway, soon the guard is dead and Martin is taught a lesson about the consequences of betraying me..
Now, let's get back on-

Goddammit another one.

Soon that guard is also dead and Martin is, once again, taught a valuable lesson about the consequences of betraying me.

Martin appears to have calmed down. Getting beaten unconscious two times in a row will do that to you.

Anyway, it's time to really enter Bravil.

Wait, what is that horse doing in the middle of the bridge? It's just in everyone's way! What an inconvenience for everyone!
I decide to kill it to make everyone's life easier.

The horse attempts to escape.
I valiantly give chase!

It shall not get away!

That horse really runs fast. I toss a few fireballs at it, but it's really hard to hit, and I end up hitting Shadowmere a few times.

Soon, however, I am able to finally punch it a few times and finish it off.
Well, that was one huge waste of time.

Okay, now to really enter Bravil.
I'm serious this time.

Huh. I expected there to be a bunch of guards waiting just inside.
I guess I was wrong.

I decide to be a bit on the stealthy side. I'd rather not have to kill everyone in Bravil just yet. I still have stuff to do here.

My sneaking goes quite well. I decide to go into the Mage's guild to sell my potions.
To be honest, I don't quite remember why I entered Bravil in the first place.

As soon as I enter, I spot a woman picking her nose.
I'm glad to see that the Mage's guild is as professional as ever.
Hey, since I'm here, I may as well ask to join. The ability to make spells and enchant stuff could be useful.

Yes I am! Well, I'm sure you'll see that I'm incredibly qualified for a spot in the guild. I'll just head over to the main guild hall so I can-

What?
I can't join because I have a bounty? That's it?
So I killed a few innocent people, so what? It isn't that big a deal!
Whatever. I guess I have to visit Armand before I can join the Mage's guild. Argh.

Just after she calls me a criminal and tells me to go away, she starts begging me for help.
...O...kay?

Eh, I'll probably get some piece of magical crap from helping her.
I might as well agree to assist.

She tells me to talk to her when I am ready to follow her to where he is.
I'll help her out when I'm not wanted anymore.

As I leave, I overhear some people talking about some ghost or something called the Forlon Watchman.
Something else I'm going to have to deal with, I'm sure. I really have to deal with everything, don't I?

Anyway, I'm somehow able to sneak out of town without getting noticed. Again.

Unfortunately, a guard soon approaches.

An angry stable worker also shows up with an axe, and Martin becomes aggressive again.
THERE IS A FIGHT

The stable worker is the first to die. The guard dies soon afterwards.

Another guard shows up.
...This battle is going to take all night, isn't it?

Some random woman shows up and starts attacking me, too.
Wait a minute... is that-?

It is! That's Countess Alessia Caro, wife of the Count of Leyawiin!
...I'm surprised punching her in the face doesn't give me a bounty of like a million gold.

Anyway, she is beaten unconscious very easily.

I still have a guard and Martin to deal with, though. And shadowmere is looking really rustled off too.
...Why does everything want me dead all of a sudden?

Although the countess wakes up, I manage to take the guard down. Permanent-like.

Then the countess is down

Then Martin.
I take down Shadowmere a few moments afterwards.

While the countess finally has the good sense to run for her life, I am attacked by a different woman. I believe she is the countess's servant.

She dies really easily.

Martin appears to have learned his lesson. Again.

I loot her corpse and discover that her shirt somehow weighs nothing. I've never seen this particular shirt before, so I take it.
Well, I think that settles that particular battle. I'd better-

Goddammit, how many people am I going to have to kill!?

The countess comes back, Martin becomes aggressive again, and I have another guard to deal with.
JUST PLAIN DANDY

The guard is soon taken down, as well as the countess.

Some old man with a sword comes charging up to me while I am fighting Martin.

I am getting really sick of this fight!

When will people learn that attacking a man who just killed several people, including armed guards, with his bare hands is a really bad idea!?

Goddammit, Martin, this has to be the fifth time I've beaten you unconscious today.
This really can't be good for you. You probably have several concussions by this point.

That old man has a lot of enchanted arrows on his corpse for some reason.
This picture doesn't even show them all. There are still more if I scroll down!
I take them all. They aren't really worth all that much, but whatever, I feel like taking them.

Well, I'm glad that's over with! I've only spent a few hours of in-game time in this dimension and I've already murdered at least 7 people.
This could all be easily avoided if people would just learn to stop attacking me.

Anyway, I start riding to the Imperial city so I can find Armand and get him to get rid of my bounty. I hope I can get there before midnight so I don't have to wait like 24 hours.

As I near the city, I spot some wild horses.
I did not realize there were even any wild horses in this game.

I decide to leave Shadowmere behind for a little while so I can swim faster.
I have more chance of getting to the Garden of Darecloth before midnight that way.

Short story even shorter: I make it in time and my bounty is gone.
Woohoo.

Judging by the battle music and that "Shadowmere is unconscious" message, I'd say that something is attacking my horse right now. I'd better go see what it is.

Well, whatever it was, it seems to be gone now. I guess Shadowmere chased it off. That, or it lost interest after Shadowmere played dead like a coward.

Next stop: BRAVIL... again.
But legally this time!
