Thank god
that's over with! Why does
everything ever try to kill me
wherever I go?
Look at these stats.
Look at these amazing stats.
HOW IS ANY ENEMY STILL ABLE TO KILL ME AT ALL?
Anyway, I head back to the Fringe and head into the Garden of Flesh and Bone.
GEE, I WONDER IF THIS PLACE WILL BE FILLED WITH EVIL UNDEAD CREATURES TRYING TO KILL ME FOR NO REASON?
OH BOY WHAT A PLEASANT SURPRISE I SURE DIDN'T EXPECT THIS
...Wait, are those
Grummite statues? Don't Grummites hate everything that isn't them, and doesn't everything that isn't them hate Grummites? Why would anyone build
statues of Grummites anywhere?
I come across a skeleton.
It summons another skeleton.
There is something about this situation that just seems
wrong
This place is AWFUL! I hate it! There is nothing,
nothing that could make coming down here worth i-
-Holy shit an Amber matrix finally it is almost like my last statement was put there exactly for the reason of pointing how awesome and worth it getting this matrix was
I am now a MASTER of Hand-to-Hand! That means my Hand-to-Hand skill
can't go higher! Haha, I'd like to see anyone try to beat Charlie Manhuge now!
...Also, I find it kind of odd that the skill is called "Hand-to-Hand", but that implies that it is a skill based around being unarmed while fighting people who are
also unarmed, yet I am almost never fighting an unarmed enemy.
Anyway, I find the first thing I'm supposed to find.
And the next of the four soon afterward.
I then enter a maze-like cavern with a strange mist flowing through it.
I follow the strange mist. I get the impression that it is leading me to where I need to go.
Oh shit a hunger
Oh shit lots and lots of hungers
DAMMIT HUNGERS I AM NOT A VIRGIN ELF GIRL I AM A VIRGIN ELF MAN THERE IS A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE TWO SO
STOP TRYING TO EAT ME!
Anyway, the mist soon leads me to some sort of magical glowing... thing.
A vial containing one of the four things I need magically appears somehow.
Good enough for me!
See that rubble in front of me?
That rubble almost crushed me.
So, not only is this place filled with traps and dangerous monsters, it is bodaciously
falling apart!
I soon find a room that is flooded with blood.
Ew.
I wade through the blood and find the fourth of the four things I need!
I also found the highest amount of gold that I have
ever found in a container in a nearby urn.
I mean, I'm so rich that this is just pocket change to me, but still, I thought it was worth mentioning.
Well, I'm glad that's over with!
As I walk back, I notice that all the Golden Saints guarding the town died somehow.
Despite the fact that no more forces of order are arriving.
...I guess they drowned in some rain or something.
Although I have what I need to rebuild the gatekeeper, I FIRST decide to go and get that
magical amber armor made!
AWESOME!
I...
Wha...
...I HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW THE HELL SOMEONE IS SUPPOSED TO RESPOND TO SOMETHING LIKE THAT!
Anyway, that's the Perfect Amber Cuiress. It doesn't defend for as much as my current armor, but the bonus in defense I get for wearing all light armor will make up for it once I am able to enchant the rest of my amber stuff and wear it.
I think it looks really good on me! Ironically, it seems to really go well with those madness grieves and boots.
Anyway, I head back to Relmyna's place and I find Nannette there.
If you don't remember, Nannette was the person who told me that the gatekeeper was weak to Relmyna's tears.
Also, it looks like Relmyna has scared her for life, both bodaciously and figuratively, for what she told me.
I almost feel sorry for her.
Almost.
I find Relmyna working on some of those Gatekeeper: Junior Editions.
I HATE THOSE THINGS SO MUCH! Although they don't take a lot of hits, they do
a lot of damage in a very short amount of time! MY LIFE WOULD BE BETTER IF SHE NEVER MADE ANY OF THEM!
Looks like I get to pick out
body parts for the New Gatekeeper now.
It will be like shopping for clothes, but with body parts!
These are my choices for everything. I just chose whatever sounded the coolest.
By the way, since you can't tell what my pick for the head was from the above picture, it was the Helm of Power.
Ceremony? What ceremony?
I was not informed of this!
She takes me to the part of the Fringe where I killed the last gatekeeper. She somehow makes some sort of pool of strange liquid appear in the center.
She tells me to toss the Gatekeeper body parts in, so I do.
Whoops, looks like I accidentally started the apocalypse.
I guess it was bound to happen eventually.
Anyway, Relmyna, starts chanting and telling me to throw all sorts of things into the strange pool, and summons a Gatekeeper: Junior Edition in to go in the pool.
However, part of Relmyna's chant is, and I quote (at least from what I remember) "Earth! Fire! Water! Wind! Light!".
If you don't get why that is hilarious I need you to look up something called "Captain Planet"
I know that light isn't
exactly like heart,
but it's still pretty daisies similar.
BY YOUR POWERS COMBINED, I AM GATEKEEPER
He is created
just in time for him to kill some knights of order that conveniently show up
right at this very moment despite the fact they had stopped appearing here for the last few
days
Even though they all die a horrible death, you really have to admire their courage.
Well, I guess the Gatekeeper is back now.
I guess that, since I am responsible for his creation, I'm responsible for the death of every adventurer that dies by his hands for as long as he exists.
That's pretty neat.
